Backing plate for B&S pads

I already have both LC and Griots 5" backing plates for my GG6. Will the hook and loop work sufficiently with Buff & Shine pads? Or do I need to get a B&S backing plate??

If it was me, I'd be perfectly fine with the LC and Griot's BPs you have. In fact, I've used LC BPs with my B&S pads without any problems. The only pad I know that's sensitive to the BP is the Meg's Microfiber pads.
