Hello All. New to the Forum. Longtime buyer of Autogeek products. Belong to another forum as well but looking forward to learning what you guys have to teach as well.

Welcome from the other side of the river! (MN here).

I think you'll dig it here- a lot of really knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming folks on here. I lurked for a long time before posting because inevitably someone would bring up a topic I'd been wondering about.

How long have you had the detailing bug? Any favorite brands/products?

John

I have always had an obsession with keeping my vehicles clean since I was a teenager. hence my "shineocd" username. Didn't really get into using power tools, compounds etc until about 5 years ago. I do my own vehicles and occasionally a friend or three. I use primarily Megs products and pads. Megs MT300 is my tool of choice now. Looking at trying a Griot's Boss??

Welcome to AG. Sounds like you were bit by the bug a while ago. Looking forward to seeing some pics of the rides.

hey shineocd (and David).. whereabouts are you? I'm in West Bend.

I use a Griots GG6 and I'd love to get my hands on a Boss G15. But I'm fine with my GG6 since I'm not in any hurry (I'm only doing my own cars) and the GG6 does everything the G15 and G21 will do. Just not as fast.

What cars/colors do you have?

Your vehicles might be a little harder to pick out than mine (seems like there are more Harleys than cars some days!). If you see one of these in town, it'll be me.

Thank you Mike. That is like 40 minutes from my home. I respect the work you do and am going to seriously consider this.

Mike,

This sentence "Depending on who's hosting the Autogeek Roadshow Detailing Classes, you'll have an opportunity to try all sorts of different detailing tools and supplies"! is in bold print in the class outline.
What does it exactly mean?

Means since this class will be held at Lake Country that we will be showcasing their pads, you will get to try out a lot of different tools and chemicals but for the pads the focus will be on LC brand.
