•Technically/Scientifically speaking:
There are silicon-based dressings,
and other products. For example:
-Silicones/(Siloxanes) Fluids/Oils are
made from Silicon and Oxygen atoms...
{aka: polydiorganosiloxanes}
•Most water-based and solvent-based
"dressings" contain Silicone Fluids/Oils
-In Solvent-based dressings...Silicone
fluids readily dissolve in the solvents
-In Water-based dressings...Silicone
fluids are suspended in an emulsion
(Otherwise: Oils & Water wouldn't mix)
