Sealant over klasse all in one

I've been using the klasse all in one prior to applying sealant like blackfire. I'm wondering if I should be putting sealant directly on the paint for better adhesion. Do most sealants bond good with the klasse or am I going to get a shorter life span doing it that way? Would it be better to use a paint cleaner without protective properties under a sealant?

If your using Klasse AIO and want more protection, why not use their sealant? I like to stay in the same family.

If you want to use Blackfire as your sealant, stick with their gloss enhancing polish.

What Klasse leaves behind is acrylic. I haven't noticed a problem with waxes or sealants losing longevity when used on top of it. But, I haven't used it extensively. I also don't remember reading of other people having a problem. So, try it and see. It won't be a big difference, if any. Not a lot of downside here.

I've used klasse hg sealant, blackfire and Wolfgang sealant over klasse aio. I just wanted to be sure the acrylic and polymer were compatible and using them together wasn't a mistake. Sounds like it's not an issue. Thanks much.

Good idea but I already did both vehicles with AIO so sealant is next. Maybe next spring I'll try one with AIO and one with a pure cleaner.

The Klasse AIO is a one-step cleaner/wax or cleaner/sealant. It's chemical only, no abrasives. Lots of people use it like a paint cleaner, that is they use it to clean the paint and then apply a NON-CLEANING wax or sealant over it for more added protection than what they would get out of the one-step Klasse AIO by itself.


Keep it simple. After using the Klasse AIO apply your sealant. Don't worry about chemically stripping the paint or using a paint cleaner after the AIO and before the wax or sealant.


Then maintain by washing carefully.
