This is not an open class but a wetsanding project for a how-to article.

:)

i know the end result will be great, but I do wonder what products you'll be using this time around.

I still use the '64 Chevelle (time lapse) as my guide.

Wetsanding? That takes juevos that I don't have. I look forward to this.

What a Bad Ass ride! Can't wait to see the how-to article!

When it's here, I'll make a short video so you can hear the engine, it's no slouch.

This is a Griot's Finishing Paper project. Stay tuned for more updates...

Ha ha.... that was a LOT of fast work on my part. I did that car from start to finish in 12 hours. I would never recommend doing a project like the 1964 Chevelle Malibu in that short of time period but that's all I had so I had to make the choice to do it or take a pass on the project and I chose to do and work my butt off.

For those that have never seen a car sanded from start to finish, here's the video...

What makes this project a tick on the difficult side is the paint job is a 20 year old garage paint job. The owner did a good job overall but there's some orange peel and mottling in the surface of the finish and after looking at it very closely I think we can fix it.

Stay tuned...

I checked with Yancy as I couldn't remember, he knew right away....

Here's the video where we used this Camaro....

And we had a lot of fun holding one of our first International Roadshow Classes in England a couple of days before Waxstock.
