Sports sound off!

I was raised a Senators fan so I dislike the Yankees and the Red Sox. Heck I dislike the other 5 teams in the American league to this day. I do have to tolerate the Tigers. My wife is from Detroit. ;)

Well we all have to make compromises in life.... I can tolerate any team for a loved one BUT the Yankees ohh yeah and the Giants. Not many Patriot fans have love for the Giants I guess.

I hope so too :( still 11 more Yanks vs Sox games this season so there is hope! Funny how the Rays are so far behind yet they've done so well against the Yankees and Red Sox. Hopefully they can get their game together because I like them over the Yankees!

Matt Maloney, the new pitcher for the Reds, i played baseball with him thru high school. he was a grade ahead of me (same school). Left Handed pitcher throwing over 90mph in high school. lets just say he had A LOT of no-hitters thrown!!! Its good to see him in the pro's. Its crazy to see someone like him dominate high school and college, then not do the best when he gets to the pro's. Shows you how BAD AZZ pro's are. He has a lot to learn and a long way to go!!
 
Tom Brady is playing like a girl tonight, but I still love the Pats.
 
Ok as the weekend approaches I tend to get in Football mode, first I have to make my picks, in other words I like to donate my money to people that know more about football then me! Then.... got to focus on can we or can't we! So looks like we are taking on Atlanta this week for the 1pm game. I tend to scan all the games to see if there are any others worth flipping back and forth too... I must say I am interested to watch Tampa game and will be looking forward to the Cowboys on Monday night.
So back to the Pats, they are up against Falcons Sunday... Falcons beat Miami (that does not mean anything my mom could give them a run for their money) and took the Panthers by 8. Considering the Panthers aren't really shining either its just hard to say.
So the point of my rambling is, what do you think the outcome will be? Bookies are saying Pats by 4 and then I see some sports writers going with the Falcons by 4...
I hate to say it out loud but I am going Pats by 7, and because this thread is for our fun time, post whatever you predict for this weekend, no matter what team!

I have to pick a team for points so this week I am grabbing Cleveland-Balitmore game!
 
Falcon are going to beat the Pats I think. The Pats defense is horrible right now. A lot of player departed from last year. Atlanta has a great running game(Turner) and a great set of recievers. Both have a good quarterback. The Jets exposed Brady's weakness last week. Atlanta is going to put a lot of pressure on him.

Hey, Hey I picked Pats by 7, I am finally glad to see them win one! Just upset me that it wasn't on TV. As for my points league I did very well picking the Ravens! And not that I like the Jets but I watched the first part of the game and all I can say is everyone better watch out, that quarterback of theirs is something else!
 
Ok I am sucking it up and going to a Dallas Cowboys game today, would rather be watching Pats but what the heck. So watch for me on TV I will be the only one in a Brady jersey at the Cowboys game!!! :eek:
