I finally got around to using my "The Belt", by Detailers Helper. Here are my thoughts. Sorry no photos since, well, its just a blue belt.

The belt portion itself attaches via velcro, so its infinitely adjustable to any size and or tightness. There are no metal pieces or attachments, so nothing to damage paint.

Since I had not used it before, I just attached two bags, a small one and a medium size one. I used it for a swirl finder light and a bottle of product.

Having these on my person definitely made the job easier. No reaching for a bottle. However, the biggest benefit I found was I could put the bottle upside down in my bag. Therefore product was always at the tip of the bottle and ready to be dispensed without worrying about knocking the bottle over somewhere, spilling product, or looking for the last place I left the bottle. No fighting with the thicker compounds to get them to the dispenser end of the bottle either. I am sure if I detailed professionally, this item would be a must have. I definitely recommend it.

I use one of mine for every job, not just detailing. I attached a $10 tool pocket from Lowes. I carry my phone, Yeti mug, keys, tools, nails, screws, flashlight, etc. all on the Belt. You can even hang a hammer thru the cord loop if it is not too heavy. Especially good for electrical jobs.

I love "the belt" been using one for 9 months now. I reach for it every time I detail.

I have thought about cutting the belt part in have or just a bit thinner it's just a little to wide for my liking

:postpics: Since at least 2 people thought it was helpful to modify the belt, I think pics would be helpful.

In my review with pics the belt is in stock form. I can't bring myself to alter it in fear I'll ruin it and be without my friend and will forever have only myself to blame

There was a link to the product page that had pictures :xyxthumbs:

I love my belt!

If I can improve on it, instead of vecro and the band itself, I would have love for it to be an adjustable belt that snaps together with a click.

That way, once it's been adjusted to preference, it's good in the long run.

Yeah but then you would have a snap on it that could scratch paint when you lean against a vehicle. My velcro is separating from the belt. I need to glue it.

It doesn't scratch... And even if it did, they have a little cover for it :)
