Where you ever able to remove the backing plate?
Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app
I go back and forth and to be honest it's not really that big of a deal. It I am using a washer(and mine are from KB I didn't make my own) I know I will most likely be cutting and using compounds. I will usually work at a speed 4 for foam pads and speed 3 for microfibers.
If I'm washerless then it's speeds 4/5 mostly. I love the polisher both ways. Another benefit of the washer is not worrying about lubricating the housing which really isn't a big deal either .
Yeah I was able to get the backing plate off the duetto. Used a ratchet with a socket that has the right size hex key size.
Try it without the washer first. All you need is speed 4. I've yet to go higher than that with or without the washer.
I just said it use it both ways lol. I had the machine since it came out man. I know how to use it with both
