I live in Georgia, with the drought were having I'm trying to conserve water so I'm not washing my car, I do however quik detail about once a week.
I switch out using a different QD spray each time I quik detail, a friend
said I should stick to just one.
What do you think? Is it safe to use different brands each time, since I'm not washing the car.
Thanks.

UPDATE: Sorry I put this in wrong thread. I can't figure how to delete.

Use what you want...I don't see any problem using different brands....

Well, if you car is an every day driver, I would consider doing some type of wash once a week. Consider the Optimum No Rinse wash as an alternative... great stuff!

I rarely, if ever, QD a dusty or dirty car. My QD's only get used during my drying process, after washing /drying and after waxing.

I fail to mention the car is garaged all week, I rarely drive it to work.

That makes a BIG difference. As long as there is no dirt on it, and the dust is at a minimum, any good QD should work fine.

why don't you switch to rinseless car wash - DP 4-in-1 or Optimum No Rinse?

So long as there is no dirt or dust, when i use a QD it doesn't matter
that i use a different brand each week, until i wash car again.. all good brands.

Cross contamination of QDs isn't anything to worry about. They don't last that long to cause any issues. Just don't QD with any form of dirt on the car because it'll marr. Pooroboy's Spray and Wipe is a waterless wash that is basically a QD on steroids meaning it'll clean anything short of mud. It doesn't leave anything behind so whatever LSP is on your car, is what you'll be left with.

I do not believe that you will cause any harm to your vehicle and since this thread is in the "New product" section I thought that I would ask if anyone uses Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield. It can be used as a sealer or QD. I have used it and found that it helps keep your detail looking fresh and wipes the dust, finger prints, etc away as if they never existed.

I was wondering about that particular Menzerna product. Sounds great.
