I've tried N914 as a RW and I just get my head around that there's actually something in the bucket, LOL. Ech2o and N914 are 2 completely different products so I don't ever compare the 2 but that's just me.

I just spent the past 20 minutes reading through this entire thread that dates back to 2017. Many great products to choose from. Here is my experience in a nutshell:

I started off with D114. Thought it did great.
Then tried ONR. I loved it!
Then tried WG Uber. Thought it was excellent!
Went back to ONR. Then tried ECH2o. Wasn’t for me.

At the end of the day, went back to ONR. Still using ONR till this day.

Your RW ratio is pretty spot on, shouldn't be an issue but the WW is too strong. If you have more, try 8-9-10:1

Dan Tran and Klasse, you guys are using the Ech2O heavy. I had slight streaking issues at 1:15 so moved to 1:20 which is my sweet spot. I use it mainly for cleaning though, not really for temporary gloss or protection. Maybe you guys like it strong to get some extra shine?

A simple buff @ 7:1 and I'm good to go and yes your right, I use to clean as well as get some gloss. In the winter time I use it exclusively as a RW because it's just not as finicky, plus temps in the upper 30's/40's would make the WW ratio too much to deal with.

I'll try it at 10:1 as a WW in the spring and go from there, thanks

Noted. Never went to 1:20

Had always thought that it would be too weak. But it was an assumption. Never tried it.

It’s plenty lubricated and still leaves a bit of shine, and in theory doesn’t require much, if any, buff after the quick dry. I usually WW in my garage at night and there’s not great lighting on the side panels, so I try to avoid streaky dilutions.

When I want the extra shine I prefer using the Merlin Elixir, currently Ech2O @1:20 + an ounce of Enigma QED per 16oz.
 
I’m really liking 2 to 2.5 oz to a 32 oz bottle. I rhem add 1 to 1.5 oz of sio2 sealantvand that’s my waterless sweet spot.

To avoid streaking less is more

I personally don't see a purpose to the Opti-Clean over the standard ONR. Seems to do just fine as a waterless. That said, I haven't compared it side-by-side with Opti-clean.

I feel the same. Opti Clean was a bit streaky for me. Probably could have increased the dilution a bit.
 
Rarely have i done a waterless wash. But i use 3d waterless wash. Mainly for birdbomb removal and such.

Ive needed a bodyshop safe product to use in the shop, to wipe down after a sand and buff, but b4 i paint correct. Picked up 3d spray detailer, as its part of the body shop line. It was also a reccomendation from Mike P.

Ill be tryin it out this weekend, and it very well may replace my need for the 3d waterless wash.

I went through a waterless phase over a year ago. Started with Griot's Spray-On Car Wash with no real expectations. Pretty good experience except it was pricey, and you go through a lot of product anyways with waterless. Then tried Meg's UWWW for like 40%-45% less and then...that smell...I could drink that stuff. Between these two I had excellent results being very mindful about the technique, of course. But for the price, UWWW wins. I keep a bottle in the trunk in case of emergencies. I only utilize a WW when no other alternative exists.

I should mention that I mostly did rinseless washes last year. A LOT of them. I've been using ONR for that. BUT - I haven't attempted to dilute ONR to 128:1 as a waterless wash. I might just try that.
 
I love waterless washing. What I hate is dealing with the wet dirty towels afterwards.
