Whats really freaky is the how flying embers hit random houses and light them up, you can have a street with every house untouched except for 2 or 3 burned to the ground, freaky.

All is well and I am home, well I've been home for about 3 hours but I've been doing some unpacking and my cousins and a friend came over. I'm glad my home isn't burnt down. THanks all for your concern! Dengood, sorry to hear about your father in law . Man...for those that lost their homes, it's really sad. I can't imagine how it is not having a home to come back to..

from what i undersatnd theres 13 fires and im in the middle of all of it
sky's have started to clear up slightly
again this is in my area...so im sure its alot worse neighboring the remote fire locations

the sky has a nice glow to it, but the air is pretty harsh still

last night I was looking out my window and it looked like Armageddon. Red sky and brown air. It was crazy, wind everywhere, you cant even open your door.

My entire garage is covered with soot and so its the M5 And the door was shut all night!

I went out to get the mail and was covered in soot. Fun stuff. We never get "natural disasters" here in SOCAL so its kinda fun.

It is not over. It was black outside here, two fires threatening us on different sides.

It is orangey color with red sun..murky and I am running my ac on full blast with my air filter set on high because I have breathing problems for the past few days//....I am really starting to hate the smell ...everything outside is dusty......but I am blessed that nothing bad had really happened yet....sigh..I am by the beach and it feels like Hawaii summer like when I was back home except for the brownish murky ...sky.. with God know particulates flying around.
