I've used Iron-X before, and you're supposed to wash and dry the vehicle before using it, then wash it again after.

Is this also recommended with McKee's Iron Remover? Directions in the store section of AG states to spray it on paint, rinse, then wash and dry. I have it sitting in my cart, but before I use it I want to make sure that I'm not using it incorrectly.

Thanks!

You can use it either way.

If you spray it onto the vehicle BEFORE you wash it, you're not going to be diluting the chemical which means it will be more effective at removing the iron particles.

I apply it like this:

Spray directly onto DRY vehicle BEFORE washing.
Allow 4-5 minutes of dwell time.
Wash as usual.
