My name is Frank, within the last week I received the products from Auto Geek to detail my Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5. Some products I had to purchase from another supplier because autogeek doesn't carry the Zymol line of products. I have completed the X5 and it turned out great, looks better than the day I bought it. The X5 was practice for my black Cayenne. I have the Cayenne about half done and it is turning out just as nice.
This was my paint detail routine, any suggestions would be appreciated:
1. 2 bucket wash mild soap and DI water rinse
2. Clayed the entire car with Zymol Klem and their lube.
3. Used a PC 7424, LC orange pad, and Menzerna super intensive polish
4. Then used PC, white pad, and Menzerna Micro polish
5. Hand applied and buffed with HD Cleanse
6. Hand applied Zymol Concours and hand buffed
Took about 15 hours to complete.

Thanks
Frank

We all love pictures on this forum.

Good because I like taking them.

This is my X5, 7 years old with 60K miles, after the detail it looks better than new. I had to take the pictures in the garage because it was raining outside. The Cayenne picture was just taken after I took delivery in June 2007, before the detail. The reason I got into detailing was that the Cayenne was littered with light scratch and swirl marks, compliments of my dealer. I'll post follow-up pics of the Cayenne after the detail is complete.

That Cayenne looks awesome

Thanks, I just love it.
I'm getting ready to add some 20" rims and bypass exhaust. Maybe lower it a bit.
