SEMA 2017 New 2018 Products

Wonder when Griots is going to jump into spray or rinse off type of sealants? Something like Gyeon Can-Coat or WET?

So I was talking to them about things like this and I even asked about coatings. They basically said they have high standards and have yet to find a formulation that satisfied them. They have had lots of companies approach them to have them put Thier label on Products but if it's not made in house and up to Thier specs they won't do it. The rep also said they have been taking trips overseas I hopes to find new product formulation ideas so who knows what they will run across

Thanks for asking about this and sharing. As a long time Griot's fan (everything I've used from them just works), I've wondered the same thing. :props:

Anything you guys want me to ask about??

2 layer application, base coat top coat. Skin is supposed to be super super slick

Perhaps their consumer 'package' answer to Mohs + Booster? That's a nice combo (consumer approximation to Durabead) but getting up there cost-wise for the 2 products. Nice job with the pics...thanks.

Well...ask 'em (Gyeon) why the heck Bathe and Towel Wash not available in 4L jugs? Something about Towel Wash I like over 3D Towel Kleen and Micro Restore but at 500ml a bottle, Towel Wash is just too much of a PIA to use.

The Flex video mentioned the 3401 would be available as a battery powered tool in the future
Yes a cordless 3401 will be available. The batteries seem to be lasting quite a lot time. U tested the DA on the AG display car to mess around with black fires new AIO and Meghan said that even after I did the front quarter panel that it was the original battery from the day before and they haven't changed or charged it. It had plenty of power in it, and so smooth

Rupes triple action 75mm pneumatic polisher seems interesting, TA75 is the model i think.

Gyeon Syncro? Curious...

I saw that on the video link last night. Sounds like this is their answer to CSL/EXO possibly.

Obviously will have to try this one out. Mentioned (I think) and absence of fluorine in the Skin part which is what made Booster so fun. Looks a lot more 'normal' to apply than Booster (on top of Mohs) though...pretty thick 'Skin'. Will be interesting to see what price is.

I don't want hundred percent remember but I think he said the price was 120

The reality is the 3401 and especially the XFE 15 are left wanting compared to other offerings in terms of outright correction. Being battery operated will only make that worse. I guess the entire Flex range are going to be called “Finishers” from now on end.

I really don't think it is intended for someone to correct an entire car with just batteries granted some people might but I would hate to do that the way I see it is it's going to be used for traveling to car events so I can do test spots for potential customers. Or when I go to do a mobile job and as the person showing me their car they ask if I can remove a scratch I don't have to take out my generator extension cord or hook up to the customer's house I can just grab that knock out the scratch real fast and be done
