Looking for the best AIO product!

If I️ recall correctly I️ sent you a little sample
of Mirror Bright Polishing Wax. Try giving that a try. Won’t have as much cut as D166 but it is supposed to last as long as Ultimate Wax.
Oh really now

First of all, I think if you are going to list "pad staining" as a negative of HD Speed (even though it has virtually no effect on pad performance) you should have also mentioned that Mckee's 360 also stains pads and is actually more difficult to remove from a pad than HD Speed is. You also could have mention that even though the sealant in Mckee's 360 is arguably the most difficult AIO to fully remove from pads, that is simply a byproduct of 360 having the most durable sealant of any AIO.

The primary benefit of HD Speed vs other AIO's/cleaner waxes is that it CAN be used on nearly any type of trim (even most textured pebble trim) without staining. Also, HD Speed doesn't dust. In most instances where guys are experiencing dusting it's because they are using it like they do w/ other AIO's. With HD Speed, use 3 pea size drops on an unprimed pad. Once the pad becomes saturated, switch out with a new pad for optimal performance. I know it feels unnatural but the product doesn't perform well when used "heavy" like other cleaner waxes prefer.

I tested my sample of blackfire 1-step today on single stage black enamel paint on a 38 Ford and it is seriously impressive. I'm pretty cynical and didn't expect to be impressed by it, and I was worried it would be too oily like Menzerna 3n1 BUT it was a dream to use and very easy to remove even when paired with a microfiber pad. I'm looking forward to trying it on some different paints.

SOLD. I think i might as well buy the blackfire 1 step gallon if it has a black friday tag on it. I just want something that doesn't dust and has good cut so i can finish jobs a tad bit quicker.

megs 66- idk who even uses this anymore but its a good cleaner wax for what it is. haven't used it in a few years now but was good at the time.

Lol!

I still use M66!

On moderately trashed vehicles, it always pulls through.

Hey Tom,

Used Speed for the first time the other day and I really liked it. That being said, it is a little dusty but not bad. As far as the other two go
1. Which is your favorite
2. As far as the protection that is left behind, which beads/sheets water better.

I'm guessing that none of them last very long but they are great for doing a quick touch up on customer rides.

If you are getting dusting from HD Speed you need to check how you are using it. I live in the worst humidity, temp etc in Fla. and have NEVER had any dusting issues with Speed or any HD polishes. I have had dusting issues with Menzerna, Wolfgang, Pinnacle etc. Disclaimer:
I never comment on any product I haven't personally bought through AG on this forum unless and including a product provided for free for a review.

M66 is awesome on neglected cars, really brings back the paint with not much effort. The effects aren't permanent though.

I agree. The only time I encountered any dust with HD Speed is when I overused a pad - “dirtypad” and I knew that was the issue. I’m unsure of any other way it would create dust, cause I used the old speed and + formula. Both seemed to work equally well in my opinion. I couldn’t imagine working the product any longer than needed. Speed already has a huge working time. If Im working the product that long, I have more problems than the purpose of an AIO.

Just my opinion...

You pretty much covered it. Over use and over saturation of a pad and not changing pads on a regular basis = death of a pad. Best advice I can share to save a person $$$$ is don't be penny wise and dollar foolish. Investing in more pads and changing them out frequently will save you money in the long run. How? Because heat and over use break down pads faster than anything else. Also, when the pads are loaded up with product and debris from correction they become less effective and you lose out on pad and product performance. Moral of the story, you can "never" have too many pads. After all, they are what is touching the paint.

Good points on pad overloading. Many AIOs are excellent chemical cleaners and all that oxidation loads up the pad quickly.
