RUPES LK900E Mille and LH19E Rotary Polisher

Here's the new RUPES LK900E Mille gear-driven orbital polisher and the new LH19D Rotary Polisher sitting in front of a 1970 454 Chevelle

Here's just three of the cars the students signed up for this class will be working on!

Back to the cars for Saturday's class

This is the real deal, a 1970 Chevelle 454 SS

TRUE Muscle Car and part of the FIRST detailing class in America using the NEW RUPES tools!

I ALWAYS document the before condition of the cars I use in my classes. Don't let the far shot under florescent lights EVER fool you.

This is a fat fendered 1948 Ford Streetrod - I was told about a $40,000.00+ build

It has a 355 horsepower ZZ4 Chevy 350 Crate Engine with a 770R4 transmission, independent front suspension with an Ostrich Leather Interior.

Completely swirled-out and grossly contaminated!

And a 1967 Chevy Chevelle SS 427 with Dual Carbs and a 4-Speed Muncie Transmission

This year, make and model car is always on every Top 10 Muscle Cars List

The students that signed up for this class are going to use RUPES BigFoot Paint Polishing System to restore a flawless show car finish worthy of this car.

This is going to be an incredible class with RUPES tools, pad and products plus Jason Rose - the Global Director of Training.

This weekend's 2-day classes start at 7:30am sharp (just like all my classes). We start EARLY because these are hands-on and there's LOTS of hands on!

If you were on the fence about signing up for this class and didn't - you snooze you lose....

Congratulations to all the guys that did get signed up you're going to have a BLAST! And... learn a lot too!

:)

For Class Members Tomorrow
(Friday afternoon)

I'm sending the link to this thread to everyone signed up for this class. If you're local or if you were one of the guys flying in from another state, (either way), and you're in Stuart tomorrow, feel free to come by Autogeek's Show Car Garage after 2:00pm and if you want - you can give me a hand washing and decontaminating these three cars.

We've done the baggie test and all three cars are complete and utter failures in this area. So before the class start Saturday at 7:30am I'm going to need to get these three cars ready and if you want to help out plus check out Autogeek's Show Car Garage then either reply to this thread or reply to the e-mail I sent you.

:)

I'm looking forward to the feedback on the Mille.

I liked the capabilities of my 3401, but with my back it just worked me too hard. I spent a fair amount of time with it, not a lot, but still can't help wonder if part of the issue was the counter clockwise rotation.

Every DA, pneumatic or electric and every rotary polisher I've used in the 35 years previous to the 3401 were clockwise rotation. You knew how the machine was going to react in situations.

Love that Chevelle!! I had one in high school.

Re: NEW RUPES LK900E Mille and LH19E Rotary - at Autogeek!

Got a long trip from Georgia to Fort Lauderdale then back to you by 2ish .... leaving earlier now ... would love to help out :)

Wow! Looks to be another awesome class!

One thing is certain, RUPES sure knows how to make some beautiful looking tools! I'm sure their performance isn't lacking either!

Really curious to hear more hands on feedback of the Mille

Been using these two polishers daily for the past few months, doesn’t get better than these.

When I look at the Flex and Rupes rotaries they make my Dewalt 849 look like an bulldozer. The Rupes and Flex are so much sleeker looking.

Remind us... what country are you in?

Do you use these tools with the RUPES pads and products?

:)

Current UK, yes the rotary coarse/Mille blue and fine yellow compounds and pads. I also use Scholls compounds with LC and BnS pads, both the Rupes and non Rupes systems on both machines, very happy with it.

Current UK,

UK = United Kingdom

Thanks for sharing that. I just want to make sure anyone in the United States reading this thread doesn't think they are now available here in the U.S. yet. Too many people now days are simply "scanners" and don't read.

By reading your Forum Nickname or your post there's nothing that signifies you're out of the country. I knew this from PMs and reading your other posts but my guess is most people would not know this. So just don't want to create any confusion about the availability.

Thanks bud and glad to hear you are enjoying the new RUPES tools.

Didn’t think of that but yes you are right. I’m certain you guys in the States are going to love these new Rupes when it launches and am eager to hear your thoughts.

Mike just curious if you happen to know if that's a LS6 454?

That is some nice swag for those that are attending. Is the the claw brush and pad tool? If it is that is a nice tool to have with the Rupes pads and polishers.

:iagree: Thats definitely a nice haul indeed. This would be a fantastic class to be a part of. These new tools have been available down here in New Zealand for around a month now, which is kinda strange that we got them before you guys but I haven't had any time with either of them yet.

Enjoy the class team, pretty neat opportunity right there.
