This client was a referral. He LOVES this BMW and wanted it looking as good as possible as well as protected from the elements/etc.

The vehicle’s paint was in very good shape with only some minor swirls and scratches. McKee’s37 Fast Cut Polish took care of these minor blemishes. There was a lot of tar on the vehicle and Stoner’s Tarminator made short work of it.
The vehicle was rinseless washed with Adam’s Rinseless wash, clayed with a Griot’s medium mitt, polished out, and then slathered with BEEDS Prime. (primer for BEEDS ceramic coating, it has oh so little cut to it, mostly depending on the pad used).

Rupes 21 MkII, Rupes 3" and iBrid were the machines of choice.

BEEDS HD was the LSP of choice for the paint and trim.

Glass was cleaned with Polish Angel Diver. The wheels came off and the calipers were cleaned with Adam’s APC, non-chlorinated brake cleaner and then treated to McKee’s37 wheel coating. The plastic areas of the wheel wells were also hit with McKee’s wheel coating.

Wheels/tires: Cleaned with Adam’s tire & rubber cleaner and wheel cleaner. Daytona speedmaster brushes were utilized. Adam’s shampoo was used for the final cleaning.
Tire dressing was McKee’s37 High Gloss.

The interior was vacuumed via Metro. The leather was cleaned with Pinnacle leather cleaner. The leather was protected with Ultima Interior Guard Plus.
There were a few areas that needed some chip repair and I utilized factory BMW touch up paint that worked very well.

Thank you for taking the time to read/look at my post!

Jeepers Scott---my knees and back hurts just from reading this!

Awesome write up. Enjoy your writing style and learn a lot with reading the listing of everything you've used on the detail.

Thanks for the time you've taken to write stuff like this for all of us to see!

Thank you Tom! I appreciate the feedback and am glad you enjoy my threads as well as get something from them! Awesome!

Yeah, that Beemer had a lot of real estate...

Thats a whole lotta car!great results,

Thanks for the write up....

Awesome work on a beatiful car. Love two-tone interiors. I looked at a couple vehicles with the white/black inside like that. Funny thing on that car I noticed is it's AWD and has no tint both while being in Florida :)

Nice job..

If it was my car the white leather would give me nightmares

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful car and garage! I like your wall mounted fans. Do they oscillate? Need something in my garage to move the air around.

Man that car sure is good looking especially after the work you put in!

Just curious whats up with the 3 wheel studs? they look very long, did you put them in to rotate the rotor while you work?

That's a beautiful looking BMW. Keep up the great work!

Beautiful workmanship as usual Scott! :props:

Wow! Thats a stunning car huh. :wow: That beast looks like it would chew up mile after mile very briskly & in a whole lot of comfort. Love the interior styling, the contrast sets it off but geeze - scary as heck.

You sure made this incredible car look exactly that - Incredible! :dblthumb2:

Great work mate, thank you for a great write up.

I'll defer the professional answer to Scott but I believe they serve as careful guide "pins" to avoid banging anything around when removing and then reinstalling the wheels\tires. Scott is the KING of Porsche work and they're popular with their ceramic rotors. The last thing you wanna do is crack a sensitive rotor on a customer car.

Scott - phenomenal work as always on one of my personal favorites!

I take it the white on white and stereo make it "special"?

Great work nonetheless...as always!
