What did you do today non-detailing related?

Not today but from last night. I bowl league on Monday nights and the team has a pretty special night. Was fun.

To quote a line from "The Big Lebowski":

Yesterday I drove the family in the manky SS up to The Holmstad in Batavia to have Thanksgiving at my mother’s. Ate too dang much, stuffing and veggies were great, but turkey was NOT moist and no dark meat, so today my wife has her cooking going on. We’ll sit down to dinner at 6:30.

detailed up a new toy before heading out to put a few down range. The economy is doing good but occasionally one finds a deal to be had when the seller needs some money. 👍 I couldn't resist.

Installed and EFI in tank fuel pump in a 1964 Fairlane with a 427W in it.

Worked on my old 90’s craftsmen/sears lawn mower. Has an 8hp motor. Hasnt run in year and half. Got a new carb off amazon for 10 bucks and new fuel line. Now just working on getting a coil and spark plug. Then should run and run good. Also i worked on adapting the plow i got for it. Almost got it mounted. Unfortunately next weekend probably gonna have to throw ball joints in my gmc envoy denali. Been putting it off for a while. I hate working in gravel but thats all i got in my driveway.

I wanted to make Ravioli tonight, but my pasta roller's old and my Ravioli Tablet's a cheaply made one that pretty much sucks. So I bought these today. Marcato's an Italian brand, so you know what that means. $$$$$! lol high quality too though. Since I don't know who here cooks, these would be the Rupes of Pasta equipment. My OCD wanted the color to match. They do have a red roller machine, but it was over $100 and this one was $55. And they don't make a gold Ravioli Tablet. When I got them out together the different colors don't bother my OCD at all, kinda even looks good. So, tonight it's Ricotta, Parmesan & Spinach stuffed Ravioli with a creamy Sun Dried Tomato sauce, a salad and some Garlic Bread on a French loaf I made in my Bread Maker last night.

Left the house at 3:30 PM, dropped the twins off at one of their friends house and went Christmas shopping. In between different stores we stopped at Chick-Fil-A for dinner and to buy gift cards. Went to Binny’s to stock the adult beverage cabinet. Immediately inside we were greeted by a woman giving out samples of an Australian whiskey. Figured I drive an Aussie car why not try an Aussie whiskey. It was very good and a bottle of Starward Two Fold Australian Whiskey came home with us. More shopping followed. We picked the twins up then stopped by one last store getting home at 11:00 PM. It was a fun day and night with my lovely bride.

I finally fixed my sister-in-law’s train for her tree. Electrically everything was fine. The wheels and drive rods needed to be adjusted so the worm gear on the motor would engage the pinion on the wheels.

Not today but added some mods to the old girl. Diode dynamic demon eyes and blinker switchbacks.

The blinkers were normally amber now clear but blink amber. The demon eyes can switch to any color or set to flash blink or wave through all colors. The look off in picture but great in RL
