What did you do today non-detailing related?

Great NEWS! My brother celled and said my nephew Kaleb has pulled through about half an hour ago, I wont be seeing him for some time as per this surgerie you can only have limited amount of people to see him (This is not COVID19 related please note) this is what the team of specialist have said.

Both my parents will be going to Melbourne to look after him for 2 weeks so i will have the chooks to look after, plus a cat and my brother's dog.

Cat's name is Tish
Dog's name is Coco
Chickens we have, BIG Red the rooster and his ladies, Speckles, Ginger, Pigeon chicken.

I have been training them in hand to hand combat and UFC type style i think they gather down at the bottom of the block i even saw one of the chooks with a sharpened
bone almost shank like.

My mother is a nurse with 15 year's on the job so is a little stressed because she knows what can and can't happen.

The family all can't wait for the phone call tomorrow saying everything went to plan.

A longtime neighbor across the street would occasionally call me over and pay me a few bucks to set traps whenever she’d see a mouse in her kitchen… Everytime she’d call would result in lots of successful traps. I once got 2 mice in 1 trap. 2 necks! I took a picture as well. Damn near worthy of framing that sucker. Lol
 
After a tidy up of my work space, I did some more work on a kit of the APC from Aliens. I started it quite a while back but lost interest, it's basic, and the fit isn't quite right, so a little bit of filling and sanding was required. I only need to finish the painting now.

The nights have been getting colder, so I put a new cover on one of the dog beds, I bought a large MF dog towel for $5. The old microsuede covering was no longer warm enough, but he still slept on it most nights, even though he's got a dog house. This bed I originally made from a small pallet I got from work.

Funny thing, the MF towel feels the same as some of my premium detailing MFs, long pile one side, low pile the other.

Gave an old CNC machine a colonoscopy, like I do every day at work. Glorious? Nope. But we get free bagels so....yea huge incentive.

Very cool! Huge huge Xeno fan here, you know that APC was made from a luggage carrier found at a 1980s airport? Pretty cool conversion. I always assumed it was mining equipment, which would've worked too albeit likely less common.
 
Two in one!? That's wild!

Three traps were nearly cleaned off but not tripped yesterday, grrrrrrr... I know it wasn't ants because those leave NO peanut butter. The surviving mouse(s) seem to be crafty and learned from the others sacrifice.
