In my defense I had sighted in the red dot yet. A flew clicks right and up and then we were in business.

Took my new toy out and put a hundred rounds through it and got the red dot sighted in. I’d say this one is a winner. Ridiculously easy to shoot and just a fun gun to add to the arsenal.

Just pretend those two holes to the left aren’t there.

Holosun 507C. Same sight I've got on my Glock 19.

Like the 507c i assume? Been trying to talk myself out of the acro p-2. Closed emitter is the roite i want to go. Ive dropped certain items on concrete b4. Durability is high up on the scale

I’m a fan of Holosun. When I initially started looking at red dots years ago I wanted the RMR but couldn’t justify the price and Holosun seemed to be just as reliable with a comparable feature set, albeit with a not as svelte profile. Now I’ve got two 507s and a 510c that used to live on my AR but was relocated to my Panzer BP12.

I was looking at the M&P 5.7 but online reviews said that the PSA Rock was a better gun. I checked their site and they had it on sale for $400. As soon as I got the email that they were back in stock I clicked buy and I have no regrets. I already had the red dot laying around waiting for a new home so it was a no brainer.
You will make up the difference feeding the 5.7. Sell a kidney, order a case of ammo.

I have a Palmetto State Armory location near me. They've got their own line of ammo with good prices on 5.7 and right now they have a great deal on bulk cases. I'm about to stock up be good for the foreseeable future.

Stayed up late and watched the LIONS work the Pack, at home and show some GRIT

Out walking my dogs this morning, I saw this beside the path. Normally there might be one there, sleeping, this is 2 of them writhing around, not fighting, probably mating. My dogs always ignore them, not today, my big dog got a "### is that" look and started barking, so I went a long way around them.

They are Red Belly Black snakes, very venomous, sometimes deadly.

:bolt:

who would ever think a corral snake (pictured below) is one of the most poisonous snakes in the world (red on yellow, kill a fellow), they don't look scary like a cobra or rattlesnake. no matter what snake it is, i'm staying clear away from them. ain't nobody got time for that!

Yuk, no thanks!

We back onto bushland at work, so we occasionally get them in the nursery during summer. They are actually looking for somewhere cool, which probably sounds counter intuitive for snakes, but they seem to gravitate towards a shaded spot, often the fernery.

Not last summer, but the one before, I nearly stepped on a baby brown on three separate occasions, I was waiting to find mama but thankfully she never appeared. We have several "long handle snake chasers" on the ready, which you're not supposed to do, but public safety and all.

Re: Installed some Conti DWS06's on the RedSport

Having a Serpentine belt installed this morning. At 60K miles it has the squeaks.

you gotta be careful basing an id on the rhyme as there are some snakes with aberrant coloration.
