Washer Time!

Sparkie..I bought a front loader last spring...I bought a LG...it is one great machine.....but most of the other brands are good also..you get what you pay for....the machine gets 2-3 loads a day in it and no problems.....funny thing is when I first got it I thought it was broke...when I did the first load..I seen hardly any water...I called a friend who has the same washer and he said it only uses 4 gallons to wash...lol....any ways..my clothes and towels never came so clean as with the front loader....

Bosch was my second choice ..but the LG just had a bit more features...and a longer motor warranty....

any of the top brands will do....just research them out and then decide

If it brakes down again Sparkie, save those 20 bucks, and buy a bucket to the wife, and tell her in exactly these words: "wash it in the old fashion way woman, and......i cant smell anything coocking".... Then you can also experience how it is to pick up your teeth from the ground with broken fingers.....THATS not easy....

I dare you...

I dubble dare you........lol

Glad you fixed it mate....more money to spend on AG...
Hey bro, when she gets mad at me she call me a shivecoff (SP). I think it's German. She will not tell me what it means. Ask paw-n-law and he just laugh and shakes he's head..

Congrats Sparkie! With that new washer and some ARO no stain stands a chance!

I think Miele makes some of the best washers but they are more expensive and can't take larger loads. But it looks like you've already made your purchase. Can't go wrong with a front loader though.

The wife talk to some of her friends today, some was saying the front loaders leak around the seals...
Europe has been using front loaders for decades now and if they were still prone to leaking design would have been changed. My dad still uses his that is more than two decades old and I do not remember it leaking a single time before I left for States nor it was leaking last time I was there (last summer).

Of course, one needs to remember to make sure door is fully closed and that seals are maintained (do not dry out).

Happy to hear that you like the Duet set. Nice laundry pair!
It uses about 12-15 gallons of water per load as opposed to a top loader at about 40 gallons per load. You will save a ton on energy costs.
How about the way the clothes come out? Almost dry?

Yes that is so true, clothes come out almost dry. The wife is so happy with them.
