New p21 wax

I was just on browsing and i saw a new wax by p21 which says it has 100% carnuba wax. Has anyone heard of this? I know its not made up of just carnuba so why would they claim that? I wont post the site because i am sure ag will have it very soon and i dont want to get banned. Thank you
 
Anyone. They said it was shown at this years sema show.
 
I can't tell any difference between P21s or S100 wax. Just a little different color. It's not 100% carnuba, if it was it would be hard as a brick. Someone said it had some bee wax in it, don't know for sure. I do like both products easy to use and the look is outstanding. Dosen't last as long as other waxes or sealants...
 
Is it 100% carnauba wax by volume or weight? They are two different things and companies play with their wording to make it seem like superior wax.

Does anybody else have any info on the "new" P21S?? Probably the test wax that they sent out a few months ago????
 
No its a new wax. Its not s100 or the regular wax its supposed to be brand new and will be shipped out after november 15 or something like that. If you pm me i will give you the site.

The current P21S wax uses Carnauba AND other waxes. They new wax is only using Carnauba wax so..... 100% Carnauba, great marketing. lol.

in this case it would not matter. 100% is 100%. If its 100% volume then the other igredients would have to weigh nothing.

however i dont think they mean there is 100%,as in its a solid block of wax. I think what they mean is that the wax used is 100% nuba, they use beeswax at the other p21s, so the was used is not 100% nuba but other waxes :cheers:
 
i dunno how it is in the 'wax' industry , but in health like for NUTRITION FACTS..lets say it says 0grams of sodium...or 0%...technically if its .49, the company is allowed to ROUND DOWN..therefore = 0%...so there mite be .49 of 10000000000000000000 other stuff, but still = 0%, therefore = 100% 'nuba...

just food for thought...i wouldnt mind trying that wax out though..for $50 i think?!?
 
P21s announced the new wax at SEMA, we should have more info for you very shortly.
 
I don't think P21s means it is 100% nuba. and nothing else in the recipe.

What I do think they mean is that the wax that IS in the recipe is all nuba as opposed to the other wax that was previously in the recipe (bees/parafin wax I think)??

The beeswax offers great beading yet no protection and that has been the major issue that people have with this wax

That's just how I read it.

Thats what i thought also. Im sure this will be more durable then there previous wax.
 
The current P21S has other waxes in it (bees wax or Montan or whatever). The new version "only" contains carnauba. The current P21S is pretty nice stuff. I suspect the new one will be fine too.

Everybody is trying to get on the band wagon nowadays and cash in on the detailing craze. :D
 
I never cared for P21S/S100, had zilch durability and didn't look anything special, Natty's Blue and other waxes were deeper and wetter looking. Hope the new one is nicer then old versions.
 
Kllr said it had beeswax. I have the PS100 - I bought it not realizing at the time it was not intended for cars, and I am unable to say it was anything truly impressive. Wait is this the wax Piet and some others got for free to test a while back?
