Those badges look nice. I also ordered and received new badges for my car. Hope to have time to install them this week.

Did you change the badge on the steering? If so how did you remove the old one? I am a bit worried about using a heat gun on the steering wheel because of the plastic there.

Might just use a hair dryer.

Steering wheel still has KIA on it since it’s an oval badge with an indentation for it on the airbag and the E badge is a circle. The only current option is to replace the airbag with one from Korea and that’s $350

Very cool, looks great with the new badges. Man it’s Clean!

The is no oval badge that fits on your steering? Or is it just that the kit you got had a round one for the steering?

The kit I have ordered has one of the badges a different size than the one on my car. The reason for this is the design I liked was a replacement kit for the Forte, and I have the Rio. I think it's gonna be okay even if the size is not the same. As long as it's not one that goes on the hood. Can't remember exactly since it's been over a month from the time I took measurements and ordered. But if memory serves my hood and trunk badges are the same size while the one in the kit has one of the two larger than the other. Wheels and steering were the correct size. And one of the two is correct size for either hood or trunk. I will just put the one that is different in size on the trunk since there is no indentation there, just a flat surface.

Maybe you could order an single oval one for your steering. Did you check Ebay?

Got home and immediately used Gyron Q2 One coating on the roof to protect it.

Just read they are recalling all Yellow stingers due to paint cracking. They will repaint the car for free.

Don’t think it’s official in the US, I know Australia recalled all 50 sunset yellow cars sold there. I am having ZERO paint issues with my car .

There'''s A Big Problem With the KIA Stinger But Only the Yellow Ones | DriveTribe

Oh this article doesnt say if it is in the US or not. Glad you are aware of it though. It is a beautiful car, congrats again!

It's in the US. They will repray the car and offer $5k back if the owner keeps it. If they still don't want it they will buy it back or get them another car at no charge. Personally, I'd get out of it and pick up the Hyundai G70 as it's a much nicer car for not much more money.

Kia/Hyundai (same company) scored a knockout when they hired away the chief designer and engineer for the BMW M brand. His first car that was totally his was the new Stinger. They used the BMW M5 as their target, and when you read the reviews, they nailed it. … It's an unbelievable car.

the Hyundai Veloster N is just the start of what's yet to come, i'm excited to see what future holds for the N division and what cars they bring to the market (it's nice to have more choices for the consumer). seems like Albert Biermann is getting that excitement back which being at BMW for a while was probably getting stale for him. it's like a breath of fresh air...

Still alive and still driving the Stinger
