Like KIA. I'm planning to buy new car soon. I've found nice car at competitive price. All I left is just make a pre-purchase inspection to be aware of the real condition of the vehicle. Guys from local PPI service here in NZ will help me with that task. Hope in a few weeks I'll be a happy owner of this nice car.

Time for the Silver Sport to add meth (major game changer upgrade) and ditch the intake. I've yet to see after market intakes on the VR3.0's do anything good and I like BMS. Better yet however, tune it instead of piggy-backing it. AMS or EcuTek Tune, upgraded cooling and down pipes are putting down 450-475hp and 500+ftlbs. to the wheels on 93 pump gas.

What features will you lose if you swap out the head unit? So many car settings are controled through the head unit or it interfaces with other dispalys in the car (i.e. driving directions or music/telephone/bluetooth info on the screen between the guages) I'd be afraid of too many things being lost/going wrong. This is a bummer since so many vehicles don't come with the best audio systems and their head unit interfaces are pretty terrible. At least Kia's interface is one of the better I've used.

unfortunately, it looks like there a small isolated case of paint issues (still better than japanese paint overall) and i'm glad they resolved it and stand behind their vehicles (that's saying something). tbh.. i really like the red (matches the interior), dare i say even more than the yellow. i'm happy for you Derek!

You are absolutely right, there are very few automakers that take care of their customers and stand behind their products. Ford, Honda, and Jeep are just a few that will absolutely do nothing to help their customers or make things right. My neighbor had a 2018 Jeep Wrangler with less than 2000 miles and its frame rusted out. He had to get an attorney before Jeep did anything to help. They gave nothing but excuses and blamed him for washing it without drying the frame, who dries their frame out every wash!?

Congratulations on the new vehicle, I look forward to seeing what you do with it and how you make that color pop! It is an absolutely beautiful machine!

They had recall on the Yellow painted cars. If you got the car repainted they would pay you $5000 if the repaint was to your satisfaction. My car got painted twice but it was now 3 shades of yellow. I then put in for a replacement car. I attached the original letter so you could see the whole breakdown. I don’t think too many car manufacturers would go to these lengths. It took awhile to get the new car but I racked up miles thru salt and snow in a car I was turning in. Kia will take the yellow car to Cali and probably auction it off.

I didn’t have any paint issues with my car but I saw the $$
