Grabbed a bottle of correcting cream that i had and the stuff inside the bottle was found to be almost like water!!!! Yes, polish was pretty runny to begin with but now it’s completely loose!! Is that normal for GGCC? Has anyone experienced the same? Bottle is about 1yr old and stored at room temp, never overheated, never frozen. Is it out of it’s shelf life? Thanks guys

Called customer service, new bottle is on the way. Not sure to what happened to this one but lesson learned - no more detailing products from amazon.

Totally agreed. Also, i’m very impressed with GG customer service, they really stand behind their products

The BEST in the industry! Been dealing with them for 13 years now, always great and willing to answer all questions about their products.

I had a small bottle of rupes uhs turn to water.. That's the only time I have seen a polish do that

Try putting a 1/2 inch stainless ball bearing or a stainless nut into the bottle and then shake it up--really shortens/aids the mixing process.

I had to stop buying correcting cream after my third bottle turned to a watery consistency. I keep all of my boss creams (including my gallon of FCC) in my basement now and they've been great! If boss creams or 3D polishes and compounds are exposed to overly hot or humid conditions they WILL become runny. Some guys say it doesn't affect performance, but IME it absolutely DOES effect cut, working time, removal, and overall ease of use.

That's odd, living in the desert I don't keep mine anywhere specific just on my shelf where if can easily get over 90 degrees and it's always kept it's thick consistency.

Griotsgarage has some of the best customer service in the detailing community that's for sure.

That's good to know. I had a feeling it had more to do with humidity than temperature. Where I live the humidity is always usually 70-80% although it's often 80-100% in the summer months which is when my bottles of correcting cream have turned runny.

It might have frozen during transport, prior to arriving at your house/shop. More than likely, if it's around a year old.

During my possession of the bottle it never been exposed to extreme temperatures. Upon arrival the product was somewhat thin but nothing crazy

I'm still on my first bottle of Correcting Cream (without the new logo that has a dark oval in the background) because I rarely have a use for it, but it is still as thick as it was when I first received it. Most of the time it is stored on a desk in my office.

I've been through maybe six or seven bottles of Fast Correcting Cream. The first bottle (no dark background) was extremely runny and it worked beautifully on the Boss microfiber pads because it coated the fibers so well. I didn't notice any kind of negative impact due to the product's consistency and even thought that FCC was supposed to be that thin. The next bottle was and every bottle since is thicker and has the new logo.

A couple bottles ago I had a lot of trouble with dusting and less-than-stellar lubrication with the compound. I called Griot's customer service about it, they asked for a picture of the batch number on the bottle, I sent it to them and maybe a week later a new bottle arrived and it worked as expected. Like others said, their customer service is great. I've bought expensive garage items from them over the phone and they're always extremely pleasant and polite. Good stuff. :)
