Is this APC that much different or better than others? Megs D101 is half the price. Duragloss is $16 for a gallon. I regularly use DG at 10:1, occasionally down to 3:1 for engines or other heavily greased areas. I'm sure there are many other similar APCs for a lot less.
I've had a different experience with Hi-Intensity APC+ than Eldo, BUT they are SO similar in performance I completely understand how guys would just stick with D101.
In my experience, D101 works better on cloth seats and carpets while M37 Hi-Intensity APC+ provides an edge in cleaning ability on plastic, rubber, leather, & vinyl surfaces.
IME Hi-Intensity APC+ has a TINY bit more degreasing capabilities and although it still creates a foamy lather, it doesn't lather quite as much as D101.
After reading about Eldo's experience with both cleaners, today out of curiosity I decided to do my own side by side test to see which cleaner is most effective at cleaning these truly disgusting running boards on a 1931 Model A that I'm wet sanding, polishing, and fully detailing this week.
-Both cleaners are diluted 10:1 w/ distilled water.
-I used the same boars hair brush but to prevent cross contamination it was rinsed thoroughly and I used a seperate microfiber towel to mop up each cleaner.
-I used Mckee's 37 APC+ 10:1 first and I sprayed the cleaner so the entire right side of the model A step plate was saturated. With the boars hair brush, I gently scrubbed the cleaner into the running board for 30 seconds before wiping it away with a microfiber towel.
-I used the exact same process with D101 diluted 10:1 on the left side of Model A step plate
Here were my results...
Before cleaning. D101 on left side of step plate. M37 High Intensity APC+ on right side.

Mckee's 37 Hi-Intensity APC+ diluted 10:1 in action. It created less foam than D101 but there was more dirt and grime suspended in the lather.

D101 diluted 10:1 in action. You can see it provides more of a frothy lather which I believe is why it works so well on carpet and cloth upholstery.

Here's the results after mopping up the Mckee's APC+ and allowing the running board to fully dry. It could still use another application but as you can hopefully see it cleaned to about 80-90% better in just one application with a soft boars hair brush.

Here's the result after mopping up D101 & allowing it to fully dry. As you can see it only was able to remove around 65-70% of the dirt and grime.

Here's a side by side comparison. I'm hoping it shows up in the photos.

The last photo also shows the area in the middle as a reference for how much better each side was after being cleaned.
Overall, I'd say they are extremely close but Hi-Intensity APC+ seems to have a bit more degreasing capabilities and for my liking D101 is just a little too foamy. When you look at the photos you can see the how the foamy lather in d101 seems to be removing the dirt and grime but on this particular surface it's just not quite as effective as Mckee's. Also, I personally prefer the fresh citrus scent of Hi-Intensity APC+ and that it doesn't make me cough like D101.
My testing was in no way perfect, but I did my best because I was also curious how these two APC's would actually compare in a side by side test.
