So...my first polishing experience ended up with good finish on the paint and not so much on the plastic trim. I was stupid enough not to clean it in time and it got stained...fast forward, regardless of what i used to clean it up it wouldn’t work. Rubber eraser along with the carpro eraser did what looked like a decent job and i decided to apply gyeon trim. Looked fantastic. For about two month. No it looks like junk. Not sure what options i have now since has been coated. Can it be removed? Ir should i reapply coating again? It really breaks my heart....

I had this experience and ended up using Rupes Mille polish yellow and yellow pads to clean my black plastic trim. I tried this on a test area first and was shocked how easy it was to clean the trim this way. The Rupes Mille is a wet polish that is runny. I used it very wet and did not allow it to dry while working it. I then removed it with ONR on a wet micro towel. I had nothing to loose and every thing to gain so I experimented and got lucky!

How to remove Almost might be a question for Jeff @Gyeon and he might also have some insight on what happened. Heavy application or something else’s

I have removed a trim coating using Optimum Hyper Polish. It does not stain trim.

But before doing anything pictures would help
