Need a complete cost effective leather cleaning guide!

I like the Ultima Interior cleaner on leather. Never had to worry about being too strong or staining/etching. Coating the leather with the Interior Guard afterwards. Leaves the leather with a great feel to it.

If the leather is a bit on the old side I will use the DG Leather Shampoo and Leather conditioner.

I’ve always heard good things about that Ultima. I need to get some. D181 can be too aggressive sometimes.

I just remembered I have D180 on my shelf too. I’ve seen posts where some people use it as more of an actual cleaner with a scrub brush with success.

It seems that D181 is the way to go. Im going to follow the method of spraying on brush, brush into seat sections. After that ill mop up and inspect. if i have to ill follow with a steamer.

I decided against D180 as I don't really see the value in conditioning the coated leather in modern cars. Maybe I'm wrong on that front, but until I see any results to the contrary I'm sticking to my method.
