I wouldn't even know what category to put this in so here goes.....
I had a twin interior/exterior yesterday. 2 SUV's . Upon arriving saw that the one was in pretty severe shape on the inside due to what I can only assume was food and coffee drippings everywhere and a ridiculous amount of dog hair.
I banged out the first one in a timely manner and got to work on #2 only to find that under the second row of seats was where they stored the deceased abominable snowman or at least that is what it looked like.
Upon witnessing this, I have the customer step outside and explain the situation. Customer gives the go ahead and away I go. After having to clean out my vac a couple of times, I was left with a 2 gallon bucket of sopping wet dog hair, french fries, goldfish crackers, cheerios and whatever other junk was in the carpets and under the seat.
As I'm working on the exterior, the customer comes over and sees the bucket of carpet soup and says "oooo a quarter !" and jams their hand in the bucket and starts looking for more money. "is this okay if I go through this?" um...... "have at it. whatever is in there is yours anyway".....
now, I know it's nice to find some surprise cash laying around the car, but for crying out loud, you couldn't pay me to stick my hand in there.....
The customer at one point asked me (before this took place) what was the worst job that I had gotten.
Before this, it was a very small vomit job...guess what...you are now the champion.
