Hey Mike,

What is the name of the one step cleaner wax you used on the orange Corvette in your August 23rd posting ?

I have a 1966 Roadster and would like to try it .

Thanks in advance

Sorry for the late reply, been a tick busy...

Just yesterday I processed the pictures and shared a write-up showing EVERYTHING I used on the original single stage metallic paint on the 1971 Corvette. Here's the link,

1971 Corvette Original Paint detailed by Mike Phillips

The product I used was the Pinnacle Jeweling Wax. NOTE how many pads I used... this is key for any correction work be it with a compound, a polish or a cleaner/wax and especialy when working on oxidized single stage paint.

The owner acted as a "Spotter" to make sure I was continually aware of any thin areas as I moved over a panel. I'm pretty good at this stuff but I don't mind taking the extra precaution of having a second set of eyes watching the buffing pad as I move it over a panel to ensure I don't run it over a thin area.

This cleaner/wax is a tick on the spendy side but it's not a cleaner/wax, it's a jeweling wax. Most cleaner/waxes cannot do this...
