What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Uhh you will be surprised what you can scratch. Haven't used a wheel brush in nearly 15 years. Like G-pop use to always say.. whatever floats your boat lol.

It’s cool, heck if I had a power washer I wouldn’t be using brushes either... But I still have little to no fear of using any of my brushes on just about any wheels.

Last weekend I used these brushes to clean these wheels on a brand new car. 1st ever wash, however it had just rained for 5 days and the wheels were caked full of grime.

Stop.lol.
The wheels had alot of residue & water spots on them prior to the final wipe I had to give them. That’s why that rear wheel looks like crap in that pic.

Here’s the only other pic I took of the car. This is after cleaning the wheels & tires and the water drying on them. They didn’t look good till the end. As you can see the tires looked even worse.

I had planned checking up on that car because those are Michelins, and I’ve got a suspicion the tires might look like absolute crap right about now and I feel I owe it to the owner to re dress them. If he’s home, and if I stop by, I’ll take some pics of the wheels.

Nice. Hey they say it’s better to use Diet Coke, because there’s no sugar in it, so it’s not sticky.

Btw I just stopped by to check on those Michelins...

Good news, after a week they don’t look like crap. Lol.

Polished and coated the headlight lens on my wife's Toyota. I also replaced the OEM headlight and DRL bulbs with Sylvania Ultra bulbs. Much whiter and brighter. Big improvement IMHO.

Finally got a chance to use Bead Maker. Black fire waterless wash, and then applied some. Not really seeing any difference in gloss from my other stuff but the slickness is definitely a step up. I’ll wait to see how it handles rain but overall for the price it’s a really nice product so far.

It's how it looks after the curing but then again your car is silver so after its cured its going to have more "shimmer". Keep in mind the durability isn't great

Rinse less wash on this 30* day. You can’t beat doing it this way.

Yeah, I figure I would use it after every wash during the winter or every other once it warms up and I’m on a regular schedule again. Already have UFF topped with ULW on there so I should be good. Lol

Eldorado I’m a trucker & it refers to the term hammer down. We’re only allowed 8 letters on NY state license plates.
So this was as close as I could get.

I just got rid of my elcamino after having it for 13 years. If you look closer I had commercial plates on the elcamino. I forgot to save them for my pickup. Thanks

Just bought a Flex pe-8 Kompakt HD , all the plates, extensions and pads.
$165 on ebay for the PE-8 HD with 1",2",3" and 2-5" plates and the short extension. Then I scurried over here, bought some pads and the 3"/6" extensions with the 25 percent off

Did my car with an ONR rinseless and Ech20/Reload because yesterday was the first time it got snow on it since I owned it.
I had to pull it out to do my daughters 328xi yesterday.

Then I did my sisters Outback with an ONR rinseless and Sonax BSD.

I have been noticing unparalleled snow performance on my daily with BSD. I cant think of another product that has refused to let snow and ice stick the way BSD does.
Maybe I refuse to reflect on past winters, beats me.

Clean wife's car engine bay with Sonax Engine Cleaner and dressed it with Sonus Motor Kote.
