No creature edgeless for initial wipe down and then followed with a spritz of homemade elixir, finally wiped down with Everest 800.

Towels seemed expensive for 325 gsm 80/20 at about 2.50 apiece. Paid the same for the creature edgeless. Wish I woulda bought his foamer. IK foams nice but feel it uses a lot of product.

The gray tip uses less than the orange one, green is TOO dry.

Worked on trunk panel of my mustang. This is the first time since I bought the car. Only 1000 miles, can you believe that panel. Well I got 90% of the scratches out. Good enough for now. I’m sure it’ll be an ongoing thing. It’s a poor design and you’re always fumbling for the latch.

I used sonax cut & finish with a 2'' microfiber griot's pad. I have their boss 3'' polisher & went for the 2'' backing plate set up. it made it easier to get in tight spots. I tried the rupes ultra fine & fine polish but it wasn't cutting it. I also tried the 2'' foam pads in the kit but eventually the microfiber pad worked. I plan on having this car for a long time. so I'm always trying to use the least most aggressive step as I can.

Can you open the trunk with a button?

Eldorado , yes I can. but it's down below that black panel. if you notice the camera is in the black panel. but the the trunk button is straight down below that first lip of the bumper cover. also when closing the trunk there's nothing to grab so you can shut it. I'm sure everyone who's tried to open that trunk(myself included) has used their hand to fumble around searching. this cleaning exercise will help me remember where the button is. I'm also going get in the practice of using the key fob to open the trunk. thanks

In that case the touching of the black surface could be minimal? I know with my B pillars I try to avoid touching them whenever possible.

I finally asked the neighbors gardener if he could do something about the sprinkler that always sprays too wide and onto my car everyday...

He said he would either adjust it or lower the water pressure on it. Hopefully he fixed it for good because it’s gotten kind of annoying with that sprinkler.

I'm a constant reader but I don't post too often. Did a rinseless wash on the car today. Used Optimum PC to pre soak the lower panels, hood, and rear hatch which were pretty hammered. Then rinsed with the Worx Hydroshot.

Then pre soaked with left over ONR from a garden pump sprayer. Proceeded to wash with Uber rinseless in a bucket and multiple towels. I use a couple MF towel companies not sold here.

Dried with Geyon silk towel with no drying aid today. After everything was dry I used Sonax BSD for the first time ever. A bit tacky like many have said. Also quite streaky, much more than Beadmaker. In it's defense humidity is about 90% so just about everything will streak some. Paint looks really good. I miss the slickness of course and we'll see how it holds up in the future. Winter stelios and tires were just sprayed with Power Clean and rinsed. No agitation. I don't usually add a tire dressing in the winter because it's almost pointless. May add the Griots satin black aerosol once the tires dry completely.

Car and paint look pretty darn good for a daily that gets hammered by Metro Detroit weather and especially considering it hasn't seen any kind of correction in about 2 years. Will most likely get polished in the spring.

Dude it’s been driving me up a wall for months! My new neighbor’s cool but ever since they got the lawn installed it’s like not stop with the sprinklers and my car gets the shaft everyday. I haven’t said anything because I didn’t want to come off like I was pssed about it even though you can imagine how much it bugged me. Lol.

I would be able to avoid it by a nose hair if I park my car at the very last inch of the left side of my driveway, leaving me to have to step out onto the grass... But that sucks.

Look how far away I’m parked and it Still wets my car! Man I hope the gardener fixed it because....

And don’t even get me started on their new dog that won’t ever shut the hell up.lol.
But we trying to keep it cool...
