Funny thing happened during the 1st 2 months I had this car... I needed to pass emissions and Cadillacs are among the absolute worst of all when it comes to those things so it took me 2 months to finally get it done. During that time I got pulled over 4 times..

DMV gives you a 1 day permit, which I kept next to me at all times along with a pen in my ear ready to fill in the date if/when I got pulled over.
1st time I got stopped the cop took all my paperwork to his car and came back and said “your paperwork is in order, have a nice day” Sweet! Lol. But I had to go back to DMV for another 1 day permit.

4th time I got pulled over by a Sheriff and he said “You’re the only person Ever who’s had all this paperwork in order! Seriously this is Shocking”! That’s all he said as he handed me my paperwork and walked away.lol.

Soon after that I finally got the car smogged and fully legit.

I use a step ladder for my roof every time... I’m only 5’1 so I’m height challenged :p

I can reach the middle of the roof, I just missed a spot.
This car does however have the biggest windshield I’ve ever seen on a car by far. When I bought my windshield sun visor I chose the truck size. Bobtail truck. Lol

Took apart the shower and cleaned everything up and scrubbed so it’s nice and shiny then coated the glass. Goes back together tomorrow and glass will be polished and coated.

Gave the girlfriend's car a much needed wash. Topped with Meguiar's HCW. 1st time so I wiped it in.

Do you like HCW?

I use it regularly on 1 of my cars and I love the ease of use and the protection but honestly I dont think it adds a lot of gloss, yes a bit but not a huge jump in gloss. But it does have good durability

Honestly, I've had the HCW for awhile but haven't tried it yet. The Benz doesn't get the attention it needs and I'm always in a time crunch, so it really fit the bill this evening. I do have Hydro2 and Wet Coat as well, but really needed to try this. I did use McKee's 37 Hydro Blue on the wheels. Most likely I will use Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Detailer in the morning on it. I will correct the car in June most likely.
 
Love Hydro2, wet coat is good but carpro have a little bit better durability and shine
I want to try the Mckees but honestly cant justify buying it right now.

After I finish my HCW bottle Im gonna stick to Hydro2 on that specific car and ceramic coat my other 2

Well I can finally he seen in my car without being embarrassed. Between being sick and having some snow and some fairly cold temps the car had been neglected and was in need of a good wash. It was about 40 degrees when I got out there.

Wheels and tires I used McKees 37 foaming wheel cleaner and tire and rubber rejuvenator. Normally I use Brake Buster but the wheels and tires were hammered so I needed a bit more oomph. Hydro Blue used on the wheels after.

Paint was washed with Reset and rinsed. The current protection is getting a bit tired (IGL Premier) and I've never used Hydro Blue or any spray and rinse product on paint or glass, only ever used it on wheels so i figured what the heck. Used Hydro Blue on the paint and glass and it worked great. Instant hydrophobics specifically on the more degraded areas. Using the Worx Hydroshot may not have been the perfect tool in the case but I just made sure I was extra thorough when rinsing.

Paint dried with Uber RW at QD strength and tires dressed with Perl. Jams wiped down with Uber as well as the engine bay.

The car is fairly fun to drive but I don't care what I'm driving, if it's filthy it's just not nearly as enjoyable.
