What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I got a custom dyno tune from a local tune shop here in Garner Nc. Went from 376hp to the wheels to 404hp. The new TCM has done wonders to the transmission too. The 8spd would constantly search the correct gear, but now it knows where it wants to go and goes.

WOW! That is quite the collection!

That’s a few years worth of collecting

The dark green chenille ones are from TW and are garbage

Only fit for rocker panels and bumpers

I ordered them, they got lost, they shipped more, the first ones showed up, I returned them, the replacements came and they told me to keep them

Otherwise I wouldn’t have them

The rest are keepers

You don't sleep with them, do you?

I kind of dry them first with the rest of the towels but then I lay them on a beach towel in the spare bedroom and turn on the AC and close the door

Sucks any moisture out of them

I just hate leaving them in the dryer long enough to make sure the liners are dry

I don’t believe in the 140 degrees max temp for microfiber anymore but still…

I have towels and mitts that are really old so I must be doing something right

lol

I cleaned the exterior glass on the Qashqai. I got to try out Angelwax Vision, thanks Tassie. Nice fine mist from the spray bottle, cleans well, wipes off easy. Checked later to see if I missed wiping any off, only a couple of spots, wiped off with no effort, good product. I can't wait to try it on the FJ, but that's for another day, when get all the mud off it. View attachment 74528View attachment 74529View attachment 74530

I use Angelwax Vision when I have really dirty interior glass to clean.

How did you find the odor?

I noticed the distinct smell when I first sprayed it. If I had to describe it I'd call it clinical. Not unpleasant though. I did notice it says not to inhale the fumes on the bottle.

Winter/Fall mode engaged. A quick rinseless wash and on go the stock rims with the Michelin A/S tires. Installed my new TuxMats as well. The boat is ready for the cold and snow.
