What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Was able to get out to do a wash.

Carpro Reset
Optimum Car Wax on top of existing Hyper Seal. I really like using OCW and how it looks.
Opti Seal on glass and wheels.

Got hit with multiple bird bombs today so I did a RW (Griot's BF). Wore some nitrile gloves to keep the hands warm. After drying, I used Griot's CSS. Put a little too much on the hood and got some streaking so I had to redo that. For the rest of the car, I sprayed the towel instead of the car.

Your going to love them. The hydro max is great! As is the hydro.
Indeed. I used 3 of them today... Amigo, Gloss and the Max. Feels like a great system to cover and conceal and keep the polisher from coming out too often. I think the Hydro and the Max are supposed to help with durability but not overly worried with my vehicles garaged and chance for washing weather year round.

It's nice to have some smaller business offerings right down the road. I'll be back to add some more of their products.

Love your car, how is it

If you're asking about the Genesis from my post, I like it a lot. A great value relative to the competition. The things I would want to change are pretty minor and the deal I got was way too good to pass up. I never thought I'd buy a light interior or what's considered a black forest green exterior in a car but I broke both rules here and don't regret it!

Definitely worth a test drive in that class and range.

I like how Hyundai have gone about creating Genesis.

I'm assuming you have the 3.3 V6? The soundtrack of that engine is probably one of the only things Genesis could improve on, perhaps making it a bit more tuneful to match the effort they put into the chassis dynamics.

Love the color of yours!

Thanks! Indeed, the 3.3. Love having a V6 again though.

Yeah, the sport modes help a bit on these cars but they could have done more. It was certainly different than the C43 AMG I tested. It's on the list of things I'd modify (and can in some ways). Other items include better interior lighting and the touch handles. I'm surprised I'm back to pushing a button to unlock doors on a 2020.

Ah well, first world problems

So I made a bad move and didnt have my truck centered between the no touch wash and the machine hit my mirror.
Best I could do with a heavy pad and Griots fast CC...it's 19 windchill right now ....Ill pick up on it in the Spring.....just another beauty mark...

Just listen to how dumb this is...

Wife's CX-5 needed a good cleaning, but it was too cold for me to do a regular wash. There's stuff on the paint that needed to be scrubbed off. But anyhoo, here's what happened:

- Rinse
- ONR wash
- Rinse again!
- Meg's HCW sprayed on and RINSED OFF!

It actually came out pretty good! LOL!

Cleaned interior with Adam’s interior detailer. Stoners for the inside glass.

Clayed exterior windshield and applied Griots Glass Sealant.

Cleaned Husky floor matts with LATA.

Saw a video recently where Adam’s used there spray graphene coating for all weather matts.

Haven’t found a protectant i’ve been impressed with including WeatherTech’s so thought i’d give it a shot.

Came out nice. Darkened a little bit and gave the worn spots a uniform look.

Recommend if you’ve got this and some all weathers give it a try.

Your dirty liners look better than mine after cleaning.......lol

Getting ready to pack up my stuff and move next week! So pumped. Thankfully my "arsenal" isn't too crazy. One carload will do it.

You're moving out of Cleveland? Good for you.

Nope, still staying in town. Seven Hills. No issues with this place I have a great local employer and Amish country/sticks is a short 25 minute drive to the east. Best of both worlds I feel.

Seven Hills is nice, still too close to Cleveland for me though. I've worked in Cleveland's inner city for almost 30 years, and while for a time it was getting "better," but now with today's political and socio-economical climate, it's gotten far worse than it ever was. I can retire in less than a year and a half, and I can honestly say, once I do, Cleveland (Cuyahoga County in general) will never see my fat backside again.
