What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Bilt-Hamber AutoWash is pretty awesome, huh! I bet you had NO issues getting more foam towards the end, product is amazing and when the time comes I'll have to decide between AutoWash and Reset for my sole contact wash when I'm low on them

Try Mystic Bubble. Have all 3 in my arsenal right now and maybe because it’s new I’ve been reaching for MB.

Wish I could figure out how to get notifications when a post of mine is quoted...

I get notifications through TapaTalk. There just a couple days late now for some reason.

I had that when TAC system first came to the U.S. and loved it! Infact I loved everything I tried from them, especially the Power Plus ceramic coating.

How's Green Star

Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

I've liked using Koch Chemie GsF so far, I see why people like it

Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

I have been using Koch products for about 18 months now, they are really solid products.

Green Star foams up nicely under agitation and is not overly pungent like some APC's can be, with a pH of 12.5.

Pol Star is a good leather and fabric cleaner. Again, foams well and is actually pH neutral.

The one product I don't like though is AS Auto Shampoo. Even with a higher pH of 9.0, it just doesn't clean very well and will not foam. I bought this when GSF was out of stock for about 6 months, it is a world away from the brilliance that is GSF.

I love how Koch Chemie has a product called Fu

I love Fu though...I use it around the house and on the heavily favored dog areas. It does a great job of freshening up rooms they sleep in.

I do the same.

You have to remember that not only are you diluting it in the reservoir but then it is diluted down a lot when applied through a foam cannon or gun.

Panel impact ratio could be 7.5….

Everyone forgets to factor in the dilution of applying with one of those tools.

I was talking about their spray bottle dilution. Even with a generous amount of water, the pH would still probably be above 10, not 7.5.

RW this morning around 11. I wasn't even halfway though when I saw pollen was already starting to build up again.

Just dressed the tires now and the car is yellow.

Like, yellow.

It's on the car, it's on my sunglasses, it's everywhere and it's non-stop.

I washed my car 2 weeks ago, went in to take a shower, went back out to go to lunch less than an hour later and my burgundy car was yellowish green from the pollen. Like you said, it’s non-stop.

I don't even bother any longer until the pollen winds down. I'll usually wash and get the winter grime off in April, then ride it out until mid-June. (Here on Eastern L.I.).

The pollen is a problem right now in the Northeast but I just can’t ride around in a green car. It seems like every time I stop, I give the car the once over with a lot of detail spray and a 1400 GSM towel. Paulie, I know very well that you can’t drive around in a green car either.

I'm not on your level, UD.

You sir, are in need of therapy.:laughing::cheers:

Looking forward to a pollen maintence wash tomorrow with Bilt-Hamber Auto-foam, will also use it on the rims as well.

Does anyone know how long pollen season actually lasts

Washed, clayed, put down two coats of FK1000p. I also put two coats of Collinite 476s on the wheels and dressed the tires with Nextzett Vinyl-Rubber Extra.

I'm in central CT, so we're likely on the same schedule. Does it really usually last until mid-June? I haven't paid attention. It just seems terrible this year!

We are basically on the exact same line of latitude (if that makes a difference!) so according to PaulMys it might be mid-June. Which sucks.

A few days ago it looked like it was literally snowing with the fluff that was flying around. I don't know what it is, or where it comes from, but it happens once a year and collects in corners and looks like a bunch of snow. Trash!
