What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Hit my touch-free wash this morning but used Bilt-Hamber Touchless as a pre-wash before entering, a light coat of foam and it seemed to be a bit more crisp (I think I'm onto something here) Dried it off, went grocery shopping and applied some TEC582 mixed with Adam's CS3 graphene, looks great.

I then vac'd, sprayed 3D Jasmine inside and applied Griot's Garage 3 in 1 leather spray into a small applicator and did the leather trimmed seats and steering wheel.

Now I wait for the rain to roll in

The FJ goes in for a service on Tuesday, so cleaned up the interior a bit. Vacuumed the seats and floor, treated the rubber mats with 303 AP, then wiped the plastics with Hybrid Solutions Inside Job. No point doing the exterior, it still looks good, and it was raining on and off all day. Second pic is a few minutes after I finished the interior.

Good job. Dr Colorchip would be trickier to use on an edge like that.

It cleans well, it's harder to get an even finish than 303 AP, but it doesn't streak on plastics like 303 AP does when it gets wet, a big issue with the FJ doors, as the whole interior door skin is plastic. I tried it on the leather steering wheel this time too. Overall I like it.

Cleaned my dad's Ford ute for a father's day gift,
Bowdens own wax wash
Bowdens own yellow snow
Garage Therapy tyre serum
Engine bay blow out and wipe down with Megs spray wax.
 
So today is the 16th anniversary of the passing of my Dad and knowing how nice he was to people I decided to do something nice, well, 2 things.

First I washed my g/f's Cruze. Used Bilt-Hamber Auto-foam as a pre-wash and cleaned the tires w/ 303 Tire and Rubber cleaner and Bilt-Hamber Surfex @3:1 ratio for the rims, all 4 brushes used. I then used CarPro Reset for the 2BM wash. To finish up I used 303 Touchless Sealant on the paint for some additional protection.

I then looked at my neighbors Lexus, the wheels and tires were trashed, time for the HD products. I grabbed CarPro Retyre and Bilt-Hamber Korrosol for the rims. I did 3 cycles on the front wheels and 2 cleanings on the front tires, even when it air dried I could still see brown but I was running out of time. I applied 303 Touchless Sealant to those wheels as well. The owner came out and was almost in tears that I did this for her, she thanked me like a dozen times. I told her I'd feel better if you took it through the good carwash today, so hopefully she does just that.

I won't be doing jack until Wednesday. It finally decided to rain for real here until then. BAH!
 
So since I had Covid I ‘ve lost a ton of stamina and slowly coming back. What’s funny is I didn’t have much in the way of symptoms but just the feeling of being exhausted.

Anyways finally coming back so hope to get my car coated soon, we’ll see.

1st time I did tires, wash and apply something in same day in a while. Well washed my car yesterday but washed Rav4 today and did tires on both and added LSP to Camaro.

Anyways,

Pretreated with Ammo Frothe and rinseless’d with Feynlab Pure. Did panel by panel. Dried with a PFM. Really liking this process and combo.

Did tires with TW Graphene Acrylic tire coating a couple weeks ago and tires were still looking good after a scrub with BB. Suprised. Still added a coat as the looked black but didn’t have that freshly applied sheen.

Finish the paint off with a coat of TacSystems Shinee wax followed by a coat of DreamMaker. Pretty tired after the Shinee wax but let it cure for a couple hours and I was good.

Gloss was off the charts!

Car looks great. Glad you’re starting to feel better. Frothe as a pretreat, hadn’t thought of that, partially because I haven’t been able to get it to foam evenly very well.
