What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Met my buddy Marsen at "The Bays" in Wheeling Illinois this afternoon. It's an indoor carwash, the first hour is free and then it's like 45 for 2 hrs or something like that.

We did a good pre-wash (Bilt-Hamber Touchless)/2 BM wash on his EN, looks like mine except he wrapped his roof. I brought along DIY Detail Quick Beads to finish it off and we really liked how it worked out

I was DROOLING over that RS6 Avant

That is sick! Never knew something like that existed. Great for folks that dont have a garage or access to one. Plus im sure ya might meet some detail geeks there lol

Not only can you rent bays but you can rent any tool that is needed and most any product you need right there.

I would definitely use it for polishing and coating. Wish I lived close.

Took my g/f's Cruze for a touch-less wash and the usual pre-wash but added a number of products in there like Griot's Garage Brillant Finish snow foam (2 oz), Bilt-Hamber Surfex (1 oz), DIY Detail Incredible Suds(.5 oz) and Bilt-Hamber Auto-foam (1 oz), just messin' around here

The road was still sweating, so needless to say the Cruze wasn't looking its best once I got home. I broke out the IK sprayer filled with Feynlab WW and knocked it out properly

It's supposed to be low to mid 40's for most of the week, so the sweating roads might be a thing for a bit, oh well I've got my subscription afterall

Running a load of mf towels right now

You've got access to the tools, comes with the rental. Used a big ass blower to help dry the car too, that was awesome

It’s one charge for bay and seperate for all tools right. Looks to g be e $245 for full day.

Worth it for lighting and access to all those tools!

Turned the big 5-0 today and before the party I wanted to get the car washed so I did a BRS/N914 Rinseless and then added Adam’s Graphene Tire Dressing (Klasse older recommendation). And topped it with one of Coating’s favorites in PA High Gloss.

53 in PA today! Rid the truck of another week of salt and dirt. Finished up with TWHS WW. Again, felt good to get out and get some fresh air!

Gave the FJ a 2B wash with Reset today, used NV Purge on the wheels. I decided to put a sacrificial layer on top of the NV Jet I put on a while back, so I went with Collinite 845. Why not, I really enjoy working with it as well.

While I had it in the garage, I had the hood up to check the fluids, I noticed how faded all the plastics looked, so I sprayed some diluted Hyper Dressing everywhere, left it for half an hour then wiped off any excess. Looks much better, thanks DFB.

Still love that color. Hope it was a great birthday.

I've seen it on the shelf, but I haven't been tempted yet. I'll see how long the Hyper Dressing lasts. There's always sales on Bowden's stuff. Maybe when I've used up what I've got.

I have the RTU Megs hyper dressing just like you have. It's cut 50/50 or 1:1 for wheel arch and stuff.

The Bays looks like a great place, wish I had one around here. Maybe I should open something similar. Lol

The warmer temps have the dirt road an absolute mess. No cleaning for me.
