Maintaining Gyeon CanCoat?

been 1 month since I have applied Gyeon CanCoat and I washed the car the other day with Honey Dew from CG and it was great. Water is beading off great and drying was ridiculous easy with an air blower.

So my question is, is there anything i should to do maintain the CanCoat coating or just let it be. I plan on doing monthly washes, and QD if there are bugs on the front bumper after road trips.

Would spraying the car after rinsing the soap off with WetCoat be beneficial each month?

Wetcoat can help the longevity of can coat. Just like any other copper if the base layer of protection fails so does the top layer.

Seems like Wet coat is something i could use while washing the car once a month, and cure i can use as a QD when i feel needed without breaking out the pressure washer!

Wasn't there one guy on Autopia who maintained his CanCoat merely by washing with Gyeon Bathe+ and he got nearly a year outta it? Would be the simplest approach.

Gyeon states an average of 6-9 months in an Autogeek video.

For me CanCoat made it to 15 months with the occasional application of Cure. It did start to diminish on the flat surfaces about the 10-11 month time frame but the sides were doing very good. This car sits outside 24/7 and is washed every couple of weeks. Sits under a tree which gets nasty when it did rain.

I did polish the paint with Gyeon Primer Polish and let that sit for close to 24 hours at the time I applied CanCoat. This polish leaves a layer of SiO2 on the surface. Think of it as a triple threat.

Ill be happy with 6 months honestly.

Car is garage kept at home and at work so maybe ill get even longeR!

I know you don't know me but even I think using a can of WetCoat once a month is excessive, LOL but I'm sure Gyeon wouldn't mind selling you the bulk size so you could do just that! I know this, if you did use WetCoat once a month your car would look incredible every month of the year!!

That said, using Bathe for your regular washes will help keep it looking great for sure, its a great soap, Bathe+ once a month will add to your protection and maybe the WetCoat once every 6 monthes would be the way to keep everything in check.

Won’t be a an just some sprays ... it’s a Tesla so it’s pretty small

I apply Cure about once a month after washing the vehicle. Seems to keep everything looking nice and the properties of the CanCoat in top shape.

Same here, I apply Cure once a month over Cancoat.

IMO Gyeon Wetcoat would be something I would use and do use. Just spray on during the rinse period and rinse off and dry and you are done.
