Mother's CMX CERAMIC SPRAY COATING

I got mine as well..will be trying it tomorrow since weather will be in high 50s..

I don't know if it's a noticeble impact on the base protection. And it would be which base protection you apply it on too if it getting some degrading on it. But with a regualar use I don't think it doing anything as you also adding the protection from AW. And the solution is on the paint for a short while when you apply it. It could be noticeble if you let the DG AW fail before apply it again. But very little noticeble if any at all.

With these spray wax or qd I think that if you use it a lot and I mean very often as 3-4 times a week or so. I think that the aggitations done when applying it is the most harsh on the LSP. And if the topper don't have a layering ability you could be wearing down the on the base protection some and make it fail sooner. But it's only when going to the extreme I think. And it would be that you have a base protection that is different in the behavior than the topper to be noticeble if you do some difference in the longevity of it. Then it can be that some carrier chemicals in the topper is harsh on the base protection that could be noticeble maybe. But think that's is more on the weak organic and synthetic waxes and sealants. And that is hard to know which is what in them. So it comes down to user experience with the combos that may not work.

More later when I'm home but long story short CMX goes on as easy if not easier than beadmaker. If it lasts 6 to 9 months it's a game changer.

Finish after is slick. Not super slick like beadmaker but about the same as after using Essence. Love it.

I just played with it a wee bit did half of a hood that has 10 month gloss coat This was the only hood available the product is thick just a little under the thickness of meguiars ceramic wax. It had no oder. It melted into paint there was nothing to wipe off I still followed directions and wiped 10 minutes later with a clean microfiber. The feel was slick you could tell the surface changed. I sprayed some on my bathroom mirror just one spray. I came back 15 minutes to see if it dried and it did. I was able to see fine white particles or specks which I think is what’s suspended in product maybe I should have shakedown it more. No rainbow effect during any part of process

How was the water beading/sheeting? Comeon. We all know you were spraying water on your mirror.

Who are we kidding I couldn't wait. The beads are from me using Meg's CW as a drying aid and I enjoy it so far. As many of you know I wanted to use CMX as a drying aid as well and it just rained a bit so...boom let's using it as a drying aid. I applied it over the Meg's product so results will be skewed but I want to see if the beads and water behavior are different in the morning when I drive off.

The passenger side of the windshield had no protection, I had Meg's CW on the driver's side to see the difference so now I can see the difference in these two head to head on glass at least

Alright now drive through a bunch of sprinklers, then a flock of constipated birds I want to see how this does against etching :laughing:

It was raining with some snow mixed in up here in nor cal a few hours ago!
 
So as I said last night I put it on half the Prius that has Meg's CW on it and the CMX side made the paint much darker and the CW already made the paint dark.
