Obviously you have used many products and that what I was hoping to get from going on this forum There are many products and what I found was that there wasn't a clear winner The YouTube website that sold me was "the best ceramic coating for cars - Ceramic Coating Shootout" done on 2-2-18 It is done by a professional detailer Take a look

I’ve seen that one. I had high hopes for Syncro but it just fell short based on my experience of it over the course of a year. It’s too bad because the concept is good.

Problem is that there are just *so* many coatings out there, no one can compare them all. Additionally, what makes a coating 'good' may depend on personal preferences, vehicle usage, maintenance and climate. Despite marketing claims, there is no 'best' coating for everyone.

Yep...methinks Skin needs a little more work.

No one can try them all? Are you challenging yourself sir.... cuz your pretty close. You have ordered stuff from 3 different continents as far as I know. by the way I read a thread were you ordered and then gave away Kisho(truly generous dude, you and Guz are like derailing Robin Hood’s). Did the guy ever get back to you or give review?

Just having as much fun as I can, curiosity and all.

Never heard back on Kisho which is a shame. From what I could gather it appeared to be a solid product, with a bit of a different application process (spritz surface with water or something during removal?) which I found intriguing.

Oh well...sometimes ya send stuff off and it just kinda disappears into the ether; wonder if it ever gets used or just sits on someone else's shelf?

Forum user rlmccarty2000 seems to enjoy looking into the cracks and crevices of lesser known coating mfgs as well, interesting stuff.

My brother-in-law just bought a 2019 Kia Stinger and got the Simonize coating package. He was proud of the car and the deal that he made for himself so I didn't have the heart to tell him that he spent too much money on a dealer hack coating. I just encouraged him to use gentle wash mitts and drying towels. Could he use an SiO2 spray like Carpro Reload or even a wax on top of that coating?

It’s called ceramic glass resin so I’d assume it would be fine with road or sio2 topper. Not sure about wax... doesn’t sit well on coatings from what I read. To be 100% sure recommend emailing Simoniz.
