303 Touchless sealant

Damn.

If I shot water on my truck right now, I'd have a pic of ice sheeting. :(

I seriously don’t know what I’d do everyday if my car was coated in that salt you guys are always posting about. How do you sleep at night?? It looks like it’s legit murder on paint.

I sleep wrapped up in a blanket inside of a sleeping bag under the covers on my bed.

Icicles hanging from my face because I have a picture of my clean car on my nightstand, which is directly in front of my window where I can see my humiliated car, and i cry myself to sleep.

My friend is finishing her PhD in Hawaii. She has the nerve to message me things like “wow it was cold last night. Had to use a second sheet while I was sleeping” during the winter.

Do you ever shovel snow off of your vehicles? How the heck does that work? I can’t imagine myself attempting that.

I also hear a bunch of people complaining about how horrible the traction is on fwd CUV’s using the standard tires the vehicle came with... People talk about sliding out of control even at low speeds. That’s gotta be a nightmare with so many bad drivers everywhere on road while you’re doing your best to be careful in your car, some idiot in a beater could change everything in an instant.

I sure do. I don't go down to the paint though, which turns it into a very tiresome and drawn out process. I gently go along the car with my snow pusher mover thing, pulling off an inch or two at a time, until i'm down to about 1-2 inches left on the horizontal surfaces. I'm pretty sure it's frowned upon to leave snow on your car and then go drive around, but I have about 6 miles of backroads before I finally get to the highway, so I just make sure to get up to speed to dust off the majority of whatever is left. So not much usually flakes off my car by time I'm at highway speeds.

I can't speak for others, but my Altima is FWD, and depending on how just bad the roads are (I usually walk to the end of my driveway which is about 1/3 of a mile long and check my backroads) I'll just let my boss know that today is a no go. Usually doesn't happen that way, but I can't recall ever sliding out of control at lower speeds unless it's something like freezing rain (drove through a big freezing rain storm once - never again.) Definitely see other people asking to be in an accident, flying down the highway at 75, taking turns wayyy too fast when it's questionable out, etc.

Sno-Brum here on AG works great.

And, traction?

You have to know how to drive in snow. It's a planned attack. Not just around corners, but on straight roads.

I have driven hundreds of miles in 2WD cars in snow with the car mostly fishtailing sideways down the road.

You may be fishtailing, but damnit don’t the tires look good? That’s because they’re Coated!

Blizzak WS-80's the past 5 winter driving seasons, no problems!

If I find out those tires got coated and we didn't get pictures, I'll personally drive up there and look incredibly sad.

You'd be even sadder to see a white salt all over them, but fear not Fin........ Beer is colder this time of year.

Sadly I can't do that, I only have a Worx hydroshot, that was at my buddy's shop last January 2018.

Now you said your car is coated and you see no reason to use this except your wheels, this makes a great topper for coating, just sayin'

I may try it at some point. I have a Si02 QD that I use and really like. It reinforces and looks incredible.
