Apparently Maroon 5 is going to pay homage to SpongeBob SquarePants creator Stephen Hillenburg by performing their very own rendition of "Sweet Victory" by David Glen Eisley, which was used in the SpongeBob SquarePants episode titled "Band Geeks".

I’ve never been so disinterested in watching a Superbowl as I am this year. I guess it would be sort of cool to see Los Angeles get a Superbowl Championship for the 1st time since 1984, but I don’t like the way things played out for my Saints. We got a raw deal.

I’m not a Saints fan but I felt bad for them. That was one of the worst calls...or non call I should say...the I have ever seen and I’ve watched a lot of football in the last 48 years!

I know this sounds like "Get the F off of my lawn guy" but Maroon 5, scrapping the bottom of the barrel aren't we? Tribute to Sponge Bob, really, think there's a hole in the barrel and brain matter leaked out all over the ground. Most Super Bowl acts either have an extensive catalog and/or anthems and world wide appeal or are just flat out talented like Bruno Mars, guy can do it all!! Personally I'd like to see Santana do the halftime show, ICON around the world, see what I mean and has MANY anthems and HUGE catalog!

Great points all around. ### were they thinking with that for the halftime. I’m currently out on a balcony having a beverage. No interest in whatever they’re calling a halftime performance.

6 wins out of 9 tries. Never has or never will be duplicated. How can you possibly say they suck in Superbowls lol? They are not supposed to be blowouts, it’s the two best teams in the world!

I’d say the USA as there isn’t football anywhere else. They try but it isn’t anywhere near the NFL.
