Im pretty sure he's not running a MAF, most like speed density, just a map sensor. But I could be wrong. His setup would max out a MAF pretty quickly.

Your right their is always the stealth factor, but call me rice but I think they sound cool, and there isnt really much stealth about a 630whp cobra lol

lol i live in florida guys thanks for the kind words...also not really sure how you all know what my car sounds like. the camera was in my car and i was the one in front in the videos lol :)

Hellion kits (and the others) all work with a MAF, and unless he switched to a FAST or other stand alone (unlikely and unnecessary), he is using a MAF. It's in the fender. There are a couple of "extenders" for the OEM MAF and you can also buy aftermarket MAFs (SCT, etc.) that will handle more than 1000 rwhp.

Thats pretty cool to hear they have MAFs that handle that much, never knew they existed. Any FI GM ive seen that is making above 600 has always ditched the MAF.

From my understanding they are not easy to tune on big setups. Not impossible but not easy, especially for driveability.
 
My best friend is running 689 rwhp and hes still using a maf on his camaro but for the most part your right they do ditch them... when my motor is finished im ditching mine (427 lsx with f1r)
 
^ I wouldnt risk driving that car all the time either-especially in Fl. some idiots driving around here.
 
Nice Cobra, my brothers makes 540/540 at the wheels with a stock eaton. When herman(HBH=HORSEPOWERBYHERMAN) comes back up here for good he is going with a KB and should make between 700-800 horsepower. I have been in the mustang scene since the mid 80's. Once again cool car.
 
That's no fun, you need to drive it sometimes.

I willingly took it down and made a project out of it and changed it to a gm powerglide transmission because the car's too fast for a manual, and everytime you shift it fell out of boost.
 
how is the paint quality and clear coat quality/thickness/hardness on your stang?

hopefully better then my aussie gm hack job
