I applied Griot's Garage Best of Show wax about 2 weeks ago and i'm not happy with the results. Do I need to remove that if I want to apply another brand (Adam's Buttery Wax). If so, what's the best way to remove the old wax?
Thank you

What exactly do you not like about the product, just curious?

Performace...just don’t feel like it did much. Plus, I wanted to try the Buttery Wax.

Claying or using a machine polish will remove it.

Yes, from Adams. I’ve been wanting to try Collinite

I know you don't know me from Adam, pun intended but Collinite #476 or #915 CRUSHES Buttery wax, not even close! Do a recent search of #915 and see how that went Your not going to find too many people here on AG that would pick Buttery wax over either of those Collinite products, no matter what!

It’s one of those prodicta that I always forget about. I’ll definitely check it out...so back to the question. Is it best practice to remove previously applied wax?

Thanks so much for the info...planning doing that this weekend. Wash, clay, HD Speed, wax.

HD Speed will also remove the wax, it counts as a polish. Not sure about Buttery, but Collinites have been claimed by members to be very compatible on top of Speed.
