I had a couple new things I wanted to try out... namely 106ff and NXT 2.0. I also used my grout sponge for the first time. I gotta say... best $2 I spent on detailing products. :up

I probably don't need to say much more than "I concur" as regards to 106ff... that stuff is amazing! I was impressed with its ability to correct being that is was a finish polish and of course the amazing gloss it leaves behind. Truly a world class product!

NXT 2.0 looked great too. I did have some very minor streaking (you can see it in one of pictures... kuddos to the first one to find it!) but it looked as good if not better than any sealant I've used. Very easy to use and smelled great!

I snapped a bunch of pictures (over 30) so the full set of pictures is on my blog... but here is three to sum it up.

Click on any of the pictures to go to the blog page with the rest of the pictures...

Nice job Dan!

I kept going back and forth between the Fr500's or Saleens, good choice!

whats this whole grout sponge deal anyways ??

Cheap wash tool - holds a ton of water/soap, debris rinse out effortlessly.. it works good but I've been so accustomed to alternate methods it felt awkward to me.... I have since cut my grout sponges to fit different size rims and wells

Your car came out perfect, and I also love your wheels. What brand/size are they?

Started with some guys over at on autopia...
Hey grout sponge pusher - Autopia Car Detailing Forum

Your car came out perfect, and I also love your wheels. What brand/size are they?
They are made by AmericanMuscle.com... I guess they brand them as well because the center cap is an 'M'. They are the only ones that I have seen with this finish. They call it "hypercoated" but it looks like BMW M3 wheel's finish.

Thanks guys.
