My Neighbor hit a skunk - suggestions for cleaning and de-stinking?

Hello,

My neighbor hit a skunk and I was wondering the best way to clean the car to remove the smell from the outside and inside?

Should I just wash and clay normally the outside?

Then de-stink the interior?

It seems like I have a smell coming through the vents? Is there a way to clean or de-stink the vents?

You can "clean and de-stink" the vents...but that likely will not stop the smell from entering the car. Depending on how badly your neighbor splattered the skunk, that spray may have worked it's way into places you can not reach. Once outside air is drawn in, the cabin stinks again. I'd recommend a good cleaning with an undercarriage wash to get as much as you can.
