Been using the Griots DA for a while and now I'm looking to move to a long throw polisher. I mainly only have B&S and Lake Country flat pads now. From looking around it looks like I may need to add some for a long throw. Which ones would be good to start with?

Thanks, Greg

Which polisher do you have, just curious as if you want smoothness you need to consider grams per pad..

But for durability, you can't beat LC HDO nor B&S Low Pros
Both should be 45G with 6.5 variants

They'll both be a tad heavy for a G21 with stock 6in plate..but more balanced if you get the 5.5in pad and a 5in plate

The G21 with 6in plate likes a lighter lad

A Rupes yellow pad is a versatile thing of beauty. Use em with Rupes 15, Boss 21 and even the Flex 3401.

Quite nice.

It will be a generic one that another member has been telling me about. I don't do this full time and can't justify a Boss, Rupes, or Flex right now. It has a good following, so hope it does what I need. It does have a 5" backing plate.

I have been looking at the B&S Low-pro, Uro-tec, and LC HDO. Just didn't know if one stuck out. Have you ever used the thin foam will by LC?

Do they compare with any of the above or have you tried them?

Thin Pros I would only recommend on 8mm and Makita PO5000C/Rupes mille
