I'm planning on correcting the paint on my 2015 Sierra.

I currently have lots of lake country orange pads. But far as which product to use I'm not sure. I have a bottle of hd speed and griots perfecting and correcting cream.

Would the orange pads and hd speed do the job? (Personal truck) attached is a picture of the worst mark on the paint.

Can't be felt with my fingernail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Going with "Least Aggressive first" approach, go with the Perfecting Cream first, HD Speed second, and Correcting Cream third.

But in reality, I would start with the Speed first. Also, I would have a few other types of pads (less aggressive) on hand as well.

Quick question...

How did these scratches get inflicted into the paint.

Also, what type of polisher do you have?

:)
Showed up after this winter, I have a griots 6" DA, seemed to be one of the most suggested polishers for a beginner/hobbyist.

Here's what I would do, I would test the 3D HD Speed with a Lake Country orange foam cutting pad on your Griot's polisher. Do some testing. See if this removes it to your satisfaction. If not, then use the Griot's Correction Cream with the orange pads. I'm pretty sure the Griot's Correction Cream will offer better correction than an AIO, but testing will tell you.

The thing about testing Speed first is if it works, then it's one and done because it seals the paint at the same time.

Quick question my end result was using a ceramic coating from carpro. Since hd speed is putting down a sealant would using an ipa to wipe it down remove the sealant? or should I avoid using hd speed altogether?

Yeah, don't use Speed if you are coating. You don't want to work backwards.

Just use a dedicated polish. (One with no protection added.) In the same line, 3D One or 3D Polish+ work great.

*Edit* Forgot you had Griot's Correcting Cream. Go with that. It is also a great product.
