Detailing Class Down Under!

For what it's worth...

Besides having fun teaching others the craft of car detailing and the art of polishing paint, if you do this long enough you'll see some of your students go on to be very successful in this industry.

:)

Absolutely! That would be a great thing to see indeed. :props:

I have seen (although still very early days) something similar. We are gearing up for the New Zealand Detailing Conference, after last years Conference a few of the lesser experiences guys were calling up looking for advice about different aspects of the business. I’m fairly transparent & where I can I’ll help as much as possible.
Some of the guys have been following either processes or ideas & have grown considerably. Maybe, maybe not a direct result of my input but it’s great watching these guys progress in the industry down here. :xyxthumbs:

Congrats! It's gotta be a great feeling of accomplishment and self-satisfaction... Pulling that off so successfully for the first time.

The only experience of mine that could compare in regards to the self-satisfaction you must be feeling is public speaking. In my past professional career as an Aerospace Quality Engineer/Project Manager I had to do a fair amount of that. The initial experiences were terrifying leading up to the engagement but the feeling afterwards was nothing short of ecstatic.

I imagine that's kind of how you're feeling.

Thank you 2black1s. :xyxthumbs:

Wow! Cool, a real “Rocket Surgeon”!!! That’s pretty cool man. :props:

Thank you mate, yes I have been feeling very pleased with how it all went. A lot less fumbling & mumbling than I thought & everything I said & done really did flow very smoothly.

Appreciate your comments my friend.

Thank you Kamakaz1961. :xyxthumbs:

Detailing is in an exciting phase in New Zealand at the moment, there are more products coming here all the time, & there is a number of shops around the Country producing great quality work. What’s even cooler is these top Detailers all gel together & at the beginning of next Month we have the NZ Detailing Conference where we all come together to discuss the industry, have training events etc & this benefits the whole industry here. :xyxthumbs:

Absolutely! Much love for Flex & the mighty BEAST in my shop! :buffing:
